We are a group of 8 arriving at JFK on April 26th at 4:40PM - and returning on May 1st at 10PM. Can you recommend the cheapest way for us to get from JFK to the Eastgate Towers hotel (east 39th street) and back? Thanks.

Taxi to anywhere in Manhattan is $45+tolls+tip, maximum of 4 persons per taxi. You could certainly take 2 separate taxis and everyone splits the fare, or inquire at the Ground Transportation counter about shuttle van which may be a little cheaper than taxi for the whole group. AirTrain/subway is always cheapest at $7.25 per person but can be a challenge with a large group, especially with transfers along the way, but here are directions just in case: AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Lexington/53rd St, transfer to downtown #6 subway to 42nd St, walk east on 42nd St to 3rd Ave, south on 3rd Ave to 39th St, east on 39th to hotel. Same routes back to JFK.

I will be arriving from Ireland on 4/29 at 8pm and will need to get to Verona, NJ. What is the safest / least expensive way to do this?
thx, Bob

We (2 adults) will departure on the 21th of April from Marriott in Poughkeepsie, NY. What's the cheapest way to get to JFK Airport?

Hi, I wonder how long a transfer by taxi from JFK to the north part of Staten Island (@ Tompkinsville) would take and what would be the approximate cost? I've checked the itinerary by subway and ferry but it may take up to 3 hours! Thanks

Taxi will take a little less than one hour (depending on traffic) and will cost around $70.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

We (2 adults) will arrive on the 21th of may at the airportz. What's the cheapest way to come to the Affinia Shelburne Hotel?
I hope for suggestions.

best regards

Martin

Taxi from JFK is $45+tolls+tip. Cheapest is $7.25 by AirTrain/subway; take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Lexington/53rd St, transfer to the downtown #6 subway to 33rd St. Walk north on Park Ave to 37th St, turn right on 37th to Lexington Ave.

100 dollars plus tips and toll for your taxi please. Use taxi as the cheapest please.
MS

arriving april 20 and going to UN area at East 46th St., is supershuttle the cheapest way to get there from jfk...thanks

Probably as taxi will cost over $50 and there's no subway service to the east side near UN. Closest subway is the #4/5/6 at 42nd/Lexington, four short blocks north to 46th St and then 3 long blocks to 1st Ave.

Hi, I'll go to JKF at 6 a.m at 23 Abril, and I wanna know if have some free transfer to La Guardia Airport...?
I'll stay in Astoria and I think that if have some transfer is better than take a cab.
Please help me.
tks

I am landing in jfk on wednesday 13 th april 2011.I have one check in bag, carry on bag and backpack.
could any body suggest best safe and cheap way of going from airport to corona hotel 112-23 roosevelt ave 11368 in queens?

Safest is by taxi, around $40. By public transport; take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to inbound E subway to Jackson Hts/Roosevelt Ave., transfer to Flushing-bound #7 subway to 111th St., one block from hotel. AirTrain/subway is $7.25.

can any body suggest cheapest travel from jfk to corona hotel ,roosevelt ave queens 11368?
