I am picking someone up on American Airlines flt 40. Where is the nearest short term parking?
Trying to determine best way to handle picking up French guests flying in on Iberia, Terminal 7, 8/29/10 Sunday at 4 PM. Two of us are driving in together from CT - is it best to have driver park at cell phone call waiting area after dropping other off to wait for guests at baggage claim? Or is it worth parking in green lot - not sure if that is nearby, etc.
You can park in the orange lot for terminal 7 and pay for the length of your stay or wait in the cell phone waiting area as you stated, and when everyone is ready for pickup they will call and you can proceed to the arrivals level of the terminal.
Hi, my wife is flying out of jfk with lots of luggage that will not fit in my little car, can I pull a uhaull trailer in the airport? If so, where to park.
Thanks
I use a motorized wheelchair and I also drive my own vehicle. Is is possible for me to park my van in long term parking and get to the JetBlue terminal ? Is there accessibility?
Yes, Airtrain is PWD friendly. At the long term parking Airtrain station take the elevator up to track level and take to terminal 5 for Jet Blue.
Hello
Im planning to go on a trip for 15day how much would it be if I park my car for all those days?
Will be traveling Friday 8/27 at 8pm coming back Tuesday 8/91 at 4PM. What lot is closest to the Delta terminal? I will be coming back on Americal Airlines, will I still be able to get to my car fairly easily from the AA terminal? Is there service from the lot closest to Delta to get to the terminal??
Green parking lot is the closest one to Delta terminals. On your way back you have to go to the second floor of T8(AA) and follow the signs to the Airtrain. Board the train on track 2 only and get off at T2/3 stop.Green parking lot is adjacent to that Airtrain station.
~ What is the closest lot to the Delta terminal (flt 1843 to SEA at 4pm)?
~ Honestly, how far from my car to the terminal, walking, with a toddler and a ton of stuff to shlep?
~ Are the parking lots covered or open air?
~ Is there anyone on-site who might help me get to/from my car?
~ Do any lots have valet service?
(Can you e-mail me your replies?)
Green Parking lot is the closest one to T2.
It is 5-10 min walking distance between the parking lot and T2.
It is parking garage so it is covered
It is very hard to find somebody that might help you at the parking lot.
None of the lots have valet service.
I will suggest you to drive to T2, departure level - there is a curb-side check-in. Do that , park you car and then walk over to T2(without the burden of your bags).

How does one know if there is availability in the long term parking lot as the number given to check availability is always busy no matter what time of day you call?
Here is the number that you have to call - 718-244-4168(JFK Parking operator).

I would like to park my car on August 17 @ 9am and pick it up on August 20 @ 5 pm what is the charge for that? and also I am flying with Jet Blue which is the closet lot I should park in?
Flying early a.m. 8/12 out of JFK. I really have no option but to drive (no place to leave car in the city). Does the JFK Long Term lot always have space available or do I need to worry about it being completely full?
thanks
we leave our truck at long term parking every time we fly, have always been able to find a space pretty close to the air tram to terminals.
I will be traveling from 13th-21st of Aug. Will use the long-term lot. Which is the best lot for Air France departures?
Use the long term lot for all airlines. Park you car, walk to the Airtrain station and take Airtrain to your terminal.
This webpage seems to be missing what I consider its most essential elements: driving directions to the long-term parking lots and any indication as to the actual linkages between the lots and the terminals. What's the actual address of the long-term lots since Google maps seems the only way to get directions and needs addresses? Are there trams running through the parking lots to take people from their cars to the AirTrain? Since one must pay for parking, is there an additional charge for the AirTrain? A visitor should not have to read several hundred posted questions to get this most basic information. (And if what I've claimed is missing is actually on the page, my apologies, and please tell me where).
When you enter the airport area simply follow the signs to long term parking, located at Lefferts Blvd. There is an Airtrain station for long term parking at Lefferts Blvd., just walk from your car to the station. Airtrain is free to all terminals from long term parking, rental car locations and between terminals you only pay $5 if you enter or exit at Howard Beach or Jamaica Stations. Additional Airtrain info is listed on the Airtrain page.
I will be traveling with a person that is wheelchair bound. We will be flying JetBlue and be gone for 8 days. Is the long-term lot and the Airtrain wheelchair accessible or do I have to drop the person at the terminal and then park?
My family will be traveling 8/19 returning 8/28 via Jet Blue and have been told that on-site parking is the most convenient.
1) can we make a parking reservation?
2) if not, does the lot fill quickly?
3) will we need to take a shuttle from the parking lot to the terminal or is it within walking distance?
Use the long term lot, $18/day, no reservations, it's a pretty big lot. There's an Airtrain stop at long term parking which will take you to all terminals, not walking distance.
Im leaving for town for 5 days and was wondering where the best place to park my car is. I will be taking an international flight on American airlines. Do all lots have access to the airtran?
The most convenient lot will be Red parking lot(right across AA terminal) even expensive for long term stay($33/day). The Long Term parking lot($18/day) is located outside the central terminal area and is accessible via Airtrain(10-20 min free ride).
FYI, all lots(short term and long term) are Airtrain accessible.

I will be going away for 7 days and will like to leave my car, do I do long term or daily. I will be leaveing from American with terminals do I park my car at and whats the going rate?
Park in the long term lot near Lefferts Blvd. ($18 per day) and take Airtrain to terminal 8.
i heard there was free motorcycle/scooter parking. is this correct still? even if it's not free is there a place for motorcycles to park (near jet blue or long term?) thanks
No motorcycles are allowed on the premises of JFK parkings.
The only free motorcycle parking is at Lefferts Blvd Station(next to the Long Term Parking). From there you can take the free Airtrain To T5(Jet Blue).

Of course, nothing can be 100% protected against vandalism, even there is 24/7 security at LT parking lot.

I did some research online and saw many people claiming to offer JFK long-term parking. If I come off the westbound Belt Pkwy and go to JFK via JFK Expwy, where within JFK do I go to find the long term parking lot? Thanks.
These other "long term" parking deals are off-airport locations and you have to take a shuttle bus to the terminals. For JFK on-airport long term parking follow the signs for long term parking (near Lefferts Blvd.). You can take the Airtrain from there to all terminals.
Can I pay parking with EZ pass, and if so, how? How often does Air train run during nighttime off hours? Any hidden fees or taxes for parking?
You can pay with EZ pass - just ask the clerk in the exit booth for the procedure. Airtrain is running every 10 min at night time. No hidden fees or taxes for parking.
JFK_E
cash or credit card. Airtrain runs 24/7. Taxes are included in parking fees.
i have to live my car for 5 days, closest to delta.
which parking lot is best for me? Price? is it 24/7?
Thanks!
Green lot serves Delta terminals, this is a daily lot $33 per day. The long term lot is $18 and you can take Airtrain from there to all terminals. All parking is 24/7.
Hi..If i would want to use the parking facility at JFK starting from 12-Aug 7pm EST till 30-Aug 9am EST, can you pls let me know the cost...thanks
Here's the approximate math:
Short term: $33/day x 19 days = $627
Long term: $18/day x 19 days = $342
You can probably fly cheaper than this! Take a taxi or public transportation to JFK, it will be MUCH cheaper for you.
What is the lowest long term economy rate? Is there anything lower than $18 per day?
Thanks,
No, $18/day is the lowest rate(for the official JFK long term parking lot). You can check out the private parking lots - they may have lower rates.
