Thanks B2G for the detailed answer!!!

Hello - we are (2 adults) arriving on April 25th around 2 pm, flying international, and our hotel is located on West 35th Street, Manhattan. What is the best/cheapest way to get there?

Best and most direct is by taxi $45+tolls+tip. You can also take NY Airporter bus ($15) to Penn Station (33rd St./7th Ave) or AirTrain to Jamaica Station ($5) and either E subway ($2.25) or LIRR ($8.50 peak/$6.25 off peak) to Penn Station.

hello we are arriving fri 8th april at approx 10pm. by the time we have got through passport control etc we wondered what the best way was to get to the eastgate tower hotel on east 39th sreet in manhattan. there are 4 people each with luggage. any advice?

Take a taxi from Ground Transportation, it will cost $45+tolls+tip for the four of you.

I am arriving in terminal 3 and I am going to terminal 4 to meet someone. Are there any pacific places in the international arrival area that I can tell them to meet me?
Thanks in advance.

I am arriving on Apr. 1 in the terminal 3 and my sister arriving on terminl 4 almost the same time. how can I go to terminal 4 to meet her, because she doesn't speak English and both of us want to go to the city. Thanks a lot for your help.

Go to AirTrain and take any train on track 1 one stop to T4. You can meet her in the international arrivals area.

I am arriving next Tuesday at JFK at 8:30 am (international flight) what is the cheapest way to reach direct and Penn Station? need to take the Amtrak to Washington. First time in NY and my English is not very good. Thank you very much for helping me

Take the AirTrain from your terminal; take train on track 1 to Jamaica Station. On arrival at Jamaica Station you will purchase your AirTrain and Long Island Railroad (LIRR) fare on one ticket from the self-service machines (there are also people there to help you use the machines). After you exit AirTrain go to LIRR and take train to Penn Station, tracks are located downstairs. At Penn Station proceed to the Amtrak waiting area for your train. The cost for AirTrain is $5 and LIRR is $8.75 during rush hour (6am-10am) and $6.25 non-rush hour (after 10am). You can also take the NY Airporter bus from terminal direct to Penn Station ($15).

The plane arrives in JFK at 12:30 and I need to be in Manhattan by 1:30. What's the best way to go? There's 5 adults and 1 child.
Thanks!

Go to Ground Transportation and they will help you with a shuttle van or similar vehicle as taxis can only take a maximum of 4 persons. If your flight is scheduled to arrive at 12:30 you probably won't make it to Manhattan by 1:30, especially if you are arriving on an international flight and need to clear customs, plus it will take close to one hour to get there from JFK.

I am arriving this saturday around 2pm from Amsterdam with my husband and 8 month old baby. What is the best way to get to our hotel (2130 Broadway at 75th Street) and what will it cost?

i arrive at jfk april 7 at 10:03 pm and i live at lancaster,pa what is the easier way to get home

Hi! My mother planned a trip for me and some friends to go to New York for a few days. The only problem is our flight arrives at JFK and our hotel is in the East Village I think. We've never been to New York and have no idea how to get around, but I was wondering if the airport provides transportation (we'll pay) from the airport to the east village area.
