Hi
I was just wondering if anyone knows the best way to get from JFK airport to Grand Central Station?

Hi,

Whats the best way to get from JFK to Springfield, NJ? I know we can take a cab but it will be about $140. I dont mind taking a train or a shuttle to Newark then cab but I can't really seem to find an easy way.

Pay no attention to JFK-Specialist, he's only a specialist in giving misinformation!! You can take AirTrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station and then either LIRR (faster but more than subway) or E subway to Penn Station. From there take NJ Transit train to Newark and taxi from there to Springfield.

Hi
Whats the best way to get to staten island from jfk? I know I can get the airtrain/subway/ferry or a taxi - I'm guessing the taxi will be quicker but I'm also trying to think about the cost too so if I can save some money but have a slightly longer journey I dont mind. I've never been before so I suppose I also have to think how easy/hard it is to navigate my way the train/subway.
Which do you guys think would be best and why?
Thanks
Paul

Taxi is best and fastest, especially if you've never done this before. Airtrain/subway/ferry will require multiple transfers and could be very cunfusing for you. Spend the money and take a taxi, figure somewhere around $80.

Take a taxi from JFK, figure around $50. The closest subway station to the terminal is a 20 minute walk. Check the cruise terminal site for info on luggage storage.

Hello.
I'm arriving on Monday - what's best way to get to
Holiday Inn Express NYC Madison Square Garden?
Thank you.

1. taxi-$45+tolls+tip takes you direct to hotel
2. NYAS express bus from terminal to Penn Station ($15)
3. AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station ($5), transfer to either LIRR ($5.75 off peak) or E subway ($2.25) to Penn Station.
From Penn Station walk south on 7th or 8th Ave to 29th St, hotel is between 7th & 8th Aves.

I'm arriving from UK on Sunday 4pm - what's best way to get to Hotel Pierre near central park?
