hi, we will be arriving 13th june 2012,JFK, require two nights accommodation, what is considered to be a reasonable rate to pay for a hotel, we dont want expensive accommodation, NOT cheap either. Is the Holiday Inn Express a nice place to stay. what can we expect to pay for taxi fares into New York, would like to take the family to Ground Zero and perhaps do the boat trip to see Statue of Liberty etc.

I am HOPING to come on Dec 16th till Dec 18th to see Swedish House Mafia play at MSG. Will be arriving at JFK. Is there a cheap hotel somewhat near by MSG? Willing to take a taxi if its far away lol. Any insider tips would be greatly appreciated!

I'm coming to JFK for just 8 days. I want to do some sight-seeing (liberty, empire state bldg, times square, manhattan, etc.). I'm a lady travelling alone, hence a little worried about where is a safe place to stay to get all this done. I'd like a clean, safe and easily accessilble location (I saw quite a few hotels at Queens but have no idea as to whether this is a safe neighbourhood to stay at and exactly how far from the main city and what it would cost me to and fro). e just as close or too far? Is a hotel in Newark a good option for all this? Also, targetting an airport pick up and drop off (JFK airport T8). I was wondering if I stay in Queens, or Manhattan, what it would cost me to get to and from the airport by cab. If anyone could help me out with this - I have been trying since 2days on the net, but have gotten more and more confused and need to make my booking by today as I travel the day after. Thanks.

Is there a hotel where one can stay overnight (because of an early morning flight), keep the care securely parked at the hotel and then take the hotel shuttle to the airport?

Please can you tell me where exactly I go to board the free bus to the Super 8 Jamaica Hotel? I know I have to ring the hotel on landing. Do I skip the area code and just 'dial' the last 7 digits? We are landing at JFK from Las Vegas overnight flight at 4545 on 15th morning and downtown hotel won't allow us to check in till noon.

Is there any palce to freshen up or have bath inside the Airport like rest rooms or something similar?

Do we ahve ti necessarily check in another airport hotel???

What is the least expensive way to get into New York city from the airport? How long will it take?

I read in the previous comments, that almost all the hotels near the airport have free shuttle service. I'm arriving at the airport at 2:30am, do you know if there is the shuttles services at that time?? Thanks in advance!

Is any hotel inside JFK airport or which are the closest one, i am arriving 1000pm and leaving 1000am next day so i do not want to go downtown

We have a very long layover in JFK from almost 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM and would like to know of a comfortable place with sofas such as a hotel or equivalent to lounge around, which has a good restaurant very close to the JFK airport. We are flying out from the American airlines terminal.

Are there any 'capsule hotels' or things like this where I can get a few hours sleep between flights actually in the airport?
I have heard of other airports which have 'sleepboxes', which seems like a great idea.

My elderly mother just texted me and told me that she is watiing at the airport now (10:10 p.m.) for a flight that leaves at 7 a.m. in the morning. I am very worried about her. What is the best option for her? Can I somehow arrange for a moderately priced room nearby and some way for her to be taken back to the airport safely in time for her flight???? Please help!!
