The following airlines are no longer operating out of Terminal 8, JFK:

- Air Berlin
- Malev

I wl be reaching JFK airport terminal8 at 12.15 hrs by Jet airways and leaving for washington DC in american airlines flight at 16.05 hrs.

do i have to do immigration check ouit at Terminal 8 before boarding american airlines flight (or) can i do immigration out at washington Dc

whether the check in luggages will be deliverd directly at Washington Dc or I have to clear it at Terminal 8 and again check in

On April 2 I will be taking AA flight from Miami to JFK and another AA flight from JFK to Barcelona. There is only one hour in between flights. Are both those flights in the same terminal since one is domestic and the othere international? Is it at all possible to make the connection in one hour.

I will be arriving on JFK on 6:00PM on Wednesday via AA on terminal 8. I will have two checked bags as well as carry on. I will catch emirates at 11:00PM same day. After getting my luggage from terminal 8 , how to get to terminal 4 with luggage. I have been taking Airtrain in past but don't know how to transfer my luggage to terminal 4. Is there emirate baggage counter in terminal 8?

Arriving by Jet Airways from BRU at Terminal 8 at 12:40, need to pick-up checked baggage and take Mexicana flight to MEX at 17:50. Do I need to pass immigration and then register for Mexicana flight at check-in desk or I can register at some transfer desk within Terminal 8, not passing immigration?

I land at Terminal 1 at 3:15 pm and have a connection flight at Terminal 8 at 5:15 pm. Are two hours enough? What is the fastest way to get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 8? Thank you in advance! Phil

We'll arrive at 12.45 in Terminal 8 at november 26th and will be leaving at 16.30 on our way to Cancun also in Terminal 8. Is there any smoking area at terminal 8? And are we allowed to leave the airport and come back at check-in time?

Hi, I have two questions:
1. Is this information about terminal 8 correct? are the airlines listed really the airlines operating to/from this terminal? have seen some comments that suggest that information about some of the terminals is old and outdated.
2. Is 1h 30min enough time to transfer between two different airlines on two separate tickets, but within the same terminal?

Hi there, i would like to ask what is the procedure is you have a connecting flight in JFK, but you do not have the boarding pass for the flight, because the airline is not code-share one, and someone, somehow must check you in order to procced to the gate. You can not just check you in by yourself because you do not have the documents for the US Custom, so the only chance must be the Transit check-in that only some of the EURO ports have, as far as i know. Does the JFK have it as well?

I arrive at gate 33 in flight 1416 American and connect Iberia 6301 to Madrid. My arrival is at 4:00pm and the connection is at 6:00pm (two hours) if on time. How do I get from the American terminal to the Iberia terminal? Will I have enough time for this connection tommorrow 12-26-08? VMW

I dropped it on Dec 15 morning, during 11 am to 1 pm and I really need the photos in the camera...the pics r very significant for me!!! Plz help me to find it if anybody knows how to search it or tell the workers of the terminal. I took the plane of American Airline. travel by flight no-4704(American Airlines) from St.Louis to JFK via Raleigh Durham.The carry-on bag was taken as gate check-in bag at St.Louis airport while boarding flight -4704 and was supposed to return
the bag at the destination airport-JFK.Flight authority told that bag was kept at the flight gate passage way during the stop at Raleigh airport.The bag is labelled by manufacturer's name " Duckback--Travelstyle".
The bag contains important official documents and personal items.
The passanger -Bhaskar Chakraborty was going from STL to JFK via Raleigh(stop city).Flight no-4704, AA, seat-13A on 15th Nov 2008.Flight landed in Terimal-8 of JFK.
