Hi. I am landing in JFK on
Hi. I am landing in JFK on Air Iberia in terminal 7. And then I am catching a flight on Delta in terminal 2. Should I recheck my bags in terminal 7 or take them to terminal 2 with me and check them there? Which is faster, as I only have 2 hrs between the time my Iberia flight lands (7pm) and my Delta departs (9pm)

If you take the bags with you at T2 make sure that you will check them there at least 1 hour prior to departure time.
Since you have only two hours time between the flights I will suggest you to do that at Iberia connecting flights counter at T7.

I just wanted to ask few questions:
1. How can I fast and easily get to the JFK airport from Garfield, NJ? How much time can it take?
2. I have a plane to Minneapolis scheduled on 26th of July at 10:55 am (Sun Country Airlines). Which terminal and gate should I head to?

First: use 160 New York bus to travel as below
From : MIDLAND AVE. & PASSAIC ST, Garfiend to PORT AUTHORITY BUS TERM [41ST & 8TH ENT]
Travel time About 45 mins , cost $5-6 )
Second: from 42ND ST - PORT AUTHORITY BUS TERM take the JAMAICA CENTER-PARSONS/ARCHER bound E Train and get off at SUTPHIN BLVD-ARCHER AV/JFK (travel time about 1/2 hour, cost $3-4)
Third: take the JAMAICA STATION TO JFK bound AIRTRAIN and get off at JFK AIRTRAIN TERMINAL 4 (Travel time about 15 mins)
2. Sun country flights depart from Terminal 4.
Gate number can be found after going to terminal 4
Customs & connecting flights
I will be arriving at JFK on 10/1 via Emirates from Dubai & Tanzania at 14:15. I am making arrangements to return to Lexington KY (LEX) on that same day and have a choice of a 16:00 flight from JFK. Is this possible or would a 18:00 from LGA be better?

Air India Connecting to Delta
Arriving by Air India in JFK. Not Sure about the terminal. Have a connection by Delta to MSP from JFK. After going through immigration, pick up bags and clearing customs, is there an option to check in bags immediately in the same terminal outside customs? Do I have to haul my bags by Airtrain to Delta's terminal and check in there? Please help. I am confused.

Hi My daughter will arrive at JFK on a Virgin atlantic flight from London not sure of the terminal at 13.20 and will depart on a delta airline flight to Burlington at 16.10 ..does anyone know the terminal it will depart from. Also will she have to go through immigration in NY or wait until she arrives at Burlington . What about bags will they be booked straight through or do they need to be picked up in NY ?
She will arrive at Terminal
She will arrive at Terminal 4, go through immigration, pick up her bags and then go through US customs.
After that she can transfer the bags at VA connecting flights counter. Delta to Burlington will depart out of Terminal 2. Airtrain is convenient way to move between the terminals.
JFK lay-over
Hi! we are flying to LA on July 19th and we have around 3 hours of lay-over in JFK. Do we need to go through immigration and customs if we just want to meet our friend for a coffee/meal? thanks!

Earliest Time for Security Clearance
Hello There,
We have old people with us and would like to arrive earlier to check in and security clearance. Our flight is domestic flight from JFK to Washington DC.
Please advice if there is any limitation on time ( earliest ) when we can clear the security. I understand the minimum adviced time for a domestic flight is 2 hours.. but I want to know earliest time ( say 5-6 hours ) before scheduled departure when the checkin is allowed.
