IMPORTANT! To all who are still missing baggage, we recently just went to the airport after being told by Lufthansa to sit home and wait. We saw our bags (and tons of others) just sitting in front of Lufthansa baggage tracking office. Absolutely ridiculous, considering we asked the phone operators if we should go to JFK, they told us a waste of time. So to anyone missing luggage I recommend going to the airport and looking for it there.

Hi - I flew on Air France from JFK on Dec 19. I still don't have my bags and I'm not due to leave Paris until March so going to JFK is not an option for me. Did you see bags from other airlines also or just Lufthansa?

Yes, we saw other airlines bags, not sure if it was AirFrance, there are diff terminals. There are tons of bags all over the terminal where lufthansa operates.

Does anyone know the situation where Delta's baggage is gathered? Are there lots of unclaimed bags still lingering. My bags were barcoded in to JFK on December 22nd but I still have yet to receive them. Based off the above accounts, I'm debating flying into JFK and searching myself. Does anyone have the number for the carrier that handles the Delta bags in JFK? Thanks

FIRST i can try to help you locate you bags is you stil do not have them. Send a request to my e-mail above and I can work with you to locate you baggage. Once we move this over to my e-mail, I can get the flight details of you flight, and bag tags. THen we can sort of were they could be.....I can help in the this like a mean dog to get anwsers. Joey

Expense Reimbursement
Delta requires that receipts be presented for all reasonable expense reimbursements incurred due to the delay of a passenger’s bag. Reasonable expenses generally are $50 for the first 24hrs and $25 per day for the next 4 days the bag is delayed. The guidelines for reasonable expenses are NOT daily limits or a cap and additional expenses may be incurred and should be handled on an individual basis up to the limit of liability. Any disbursements will be deducted from the final settlement if the bag is not located. Please note, if your bag is still missing, you must fill out the passenger property claim form under lost baggage at www.delta.com/bagclaim. The following form is only for the reimbursement of incidental expenses incurred while your bag was delayed. Please print this form and submit with your receipts for consideration of reimbursement.
