Hi, im flying back to JFK on saturday, from Guatemala, making a stop in miami. I heard that the airport might be closed due to bad weather and i don´t want to wait in miami, i prefer to wait in Guatemala so any information you can provide is helpful.
LUGGAGE STILL NOT RECEIVED
I departed on Dec 30th @ 7:30 PM after waiting for 6 hours on AF009B flight to Paris CDG and still have no news on my luggage....
What's going on in JFK? Are there still loads of luggage waiting to be taken by departing flights as I saw on Dec 29th??? I am worried, I don't want my luggage being in the middle of JFK terminal 1 hall...
WHAT IS THE STATUS AS OF TODAY IN TERMINAL ONE. ARE THERE STILL TONS OF LUGGAGE WAITING TO BE LOADED IN THE PLANES? Thanks for you help

I left for Paris from JFK on Dec 28 and STILL Have not received my luggage either. It's been 10 days now. I believe they were backed up since Dec 19 and those people are JUST getting their luggage this week! Anyone have any news?

AF FLIGHT 010 FR0M PARIS
I HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY BAG THAT WAS CHECK IN AT MOROCCO 12/29 FORCEFULLY,!!!!! IT WAS A CARRY ON BUT BE CAUSE THEY LET FRENCH NATL ON WITH SHOPPING BAGS AND FLUFFY COATS THERE WAS NO ROOM IN THE OVERHEAD THIS AIRLINE SUCKS AND THE POEPLE WHO RUN IT ARE AT BEST INDIFFERENT.
HAS ANYONE ON FLIGHT 010 FROM PARIS ON 12/29 RECIEVED THEIR BAGS OR ANY INFO.

Same problem but from JFK to Paris on Air France... Flew on Dec 30th (plane departed @ 7:30 AM instead of 1:25 AM and was supposed to depart initially on the 29th @ 23:30 PM.....) I have no news from my luggage.
I am worried that luggage is still in piles in JFK, as I saw on the 29th.... Anyone can have access to already checked in luggage with this stupid extra scan they do manually.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THERE ARE STILL LEFTOVER LUGGAGE PILED UP IN THE MIDDLE OF JFK TERMINAL 1 HALL?

luggage pile up
We flew into JFK on AA on Sat. 1/1 and saw LOTS of bags
just sitting there at the various baggage claim areas!
It did look as if someone from the airline had sort of organized them...hopefully AirFrance is doing the same. Good luck!

Delays, delays, delays.
I am reading about all the delays in arrivals and I just can't help feeling much of it is an overreaction. I can't help feeling there is so much more to get excited about than interrupted travel plans. However, my local flight from JFK to Minneapolis, on a small airline, has been bumped from the scheduled departures since Sunday evening. Check your Blackberries....that's 4 days ago. So, if anybody out there has any pull whatsoever, seeing as I am really a hell of nice guy, please make sure tomorrow's scheduled departure of Flight 248, Sun Country, is allowed to take off on time.........

Some people sat on the airplanes from 3 to 5 hours before being let into the airport. Then they had to wait 2-3 days for their luggage and even then they still did not receive it. Isn't it illegal to keep us sitting on an airplane for more than 1 hour!!!!!
