Stand by usually mean that if they have enough seats then you can take that flight. Her luggage should be checked for 9PM flight unless she will fly out earlier.

Is there curbside check-in available for international flights on Swiss Air?

Hi, I'm flying by Air India in to JFK terminal 4 on 23rd July @0600hrs and my flight to Tampa is @1955 from terminal 8.
1. How do I connect to terminal 8 from terminal 4?
2. I've around 14 hrs of layover, can I leave the airport and go around for some sight seeing, can you suggest something?
3. Can I deposit my luggage during my wait @ JFK, how much would it cost and where can i deposit my bags.

1. Take any train on track 2 from Terminal 8 to terminal 4.
2. Absolutely yes. Nice places to see are Statue of Liberty.
3. Check with your airline and its cost for luggage deposit.

Hi,

My husband is travelling from India to Tampa by Emirates airlines. He has to catch Jet Blue Airlines from terminal 5. Which terminal shall the immigration and customs be? Does he has to carry the bags from terminal 4 to 5 and are the terminals connected to be walkable or he has to take the Airtrain from Track2. Please help.

Emirates lands at terminal 4 so he will clear immigration and customs at terminal 4. After he arrives at terminal 4 arrivals hall he has to go to the third floor of terminal 4 take any train on track 1 to terminal 5.

I have family arriving on Friday 15th on EuroFly at 1700 - how long should I allow for them to get baggage and clear customs before we actually see them walk out. One is getting special needs assistance so will that speed up or slow down the process?

Between 45 minute and an hour and also depending on how busy Customs are at the time of the landing. As far as your other question this may actually slow down the process.

Hello everyone. I am flying from Europe to JFK on August 21. I am flying with Uzbekistan airways and my flight arrives at 12 pm. I a have a connecting flight with Jet Blue at 4:30 pm, probably in Terminal 5. I have little experience with connecting time between international flight and domestic flights.
I am not a US citizen and I will need to check in my luggage and get a new boarding pass.
Is 4,5 hours enough to get through the customs, check in my luggage, get a new boarding pass and finally ake it to the connecting flight?
I will appreciate any help.

Yes lots of time for that connection.

Hello,
is it possible to reserve an accompaning person for a minor child (age of 14) who will travel on his own from Transaero flight (Moscow, Terminal 4) through Immigration and Customs to Terminal 3 and check him in to Delta flight to Miami?

You should call Delta airline associates for that service.

Hello,

I will arrive tomorrow ,13.30, at terminal 4, i need to wait my friend that arrive at JFK at terminal 1 at 18.40.

My first question is how long does it take from t.4 to t.1 ?
The second is, if i have the chance to go to see something around outside the airport, maybe rockway beach or jamaica bay..somethin interesting while i am waiting for my friend to come.
To do so, i will leave the luggage in a deposit, paying, and coming back on time to collect my friend after the arrival at terminal 1.
Is it feasible?
Thanks for your info, in advance.

Paolo

There is really NOTHING around the jfk airport, except the wildlife area. I do not recommend leaving the airport. Jamaica Bay has no developed beaches, and the other beaches require a train ride to Rockaways'....
