1. It may take you up to one hour.
2. Your boyfriend can park at terminal 4 (Lot Polish Airlines terminal) short term parking lot.

Hi, my wife will be arriving in T4 via Emirates and reconnecting with JetBlue from T5. After she clears customs, where does she re-check her bags (T4 or T5)?

T5 with JetBlue airlines.

Hello, I'm landing in terminal 4 from a Virgin America flight at 3:35 PM on August 6th. From there I am taking a completely different flight to Milan on Swiss International Airlines at 5:50 PM. This is not a layover stop on the same trip, they are separate flights. I need to check a small bag for Swiss Int'l Airlines, pick up my ticket and then pass through security again. I realize this is extremely tight and I booked it without thinking it through too well, obviously. Any tips to avoid delays along the way? Much thanks.

One thing that I can tell you is I hope your first flight is on time so you can recheck your bags for Swiss air and get boarding passes and clear security.

From terminal 4 take an air train on track 2 to Jamaica Station. About 3 minute free air train trip.

...another wrong info!!! thanks for the correction B2G!!!

Track 1 to Jamaica Station, track 2 is the terminal loop.

Does anybody know if qatar Airways come to Terminal-4 or Terminal-8? This link shows Terminal-8 http://www.panynj.gov/airports/jfk-airlines.html

Take any train on track 2 from terminal 4 to Jamaica Station.

Clear immigration and customs, take escalator or elevator to the 3rd floor for the air train, take the jamaica bpound air train on track 2 - finally pay the required fare when you exit the train (5USD)

Hi
I will be landing @ JFK (for the first time)on Aug-3-2011 aboard Egypt Air-985 from Cairo, expecting to arrive @ 15:15 and then connect onto a US Airways flight-373 bound for Charlotte Douglas (CLT) NC departing at 18:15.
My guess is i’ll be arriving @ T4 and departing @ T7.
If so, my qns are;
1.How much time does immigration and customs take?
2.After immigration and Custom checks, how do i get to catch the Air train to T7 from T4?
3.Will the 3 hours gap time be enough time to re check in my one suitcase for the connecting flight?
Thanks.

1. Forty five minutes to an hour for Customs.
2. As you get into Terminal 7 arrivals hall follow the signs go across the street to the next building take an escalator to the third floor and take any train on track 2 to terminal 4. One minute free air train trip.
3. Absolutely yes.
JFK_Specialist

1)Allow at least one hour for customs.
2)Go to third floor of T4 and take any AirTrain on track 1 to T7.
3)3 hrs. should be enough time.
