Does JFK have special travelers assistance that I can buy for a passenger arriving at terminal 4 via etihad because it will be their first time flying experience. Someone that can actually be with the passenger and that can help the passenger with all procedures and immigration after entry after landing at the airport, and with luggage. I'm looking for travelers services after the passenger's flight arrives into JFK.

We are going to be flying in on Delta to terminal 2 (gate 23h) and need to get to terminal 4 (gate B26 or B20) on the 21st. What is the best way to get to terminal 4? Are we going to have to go thru security again in terminal 4?

Why is there no information on food avilable in these terminals? Don't people eat in NY? Do you have go through security to eat?

You can go to a snack shop or a coffee shop there should be some information about food. Those shops are before security so you can eat with departing or arriving passenger.

My friend will be arriving 12/23 via egyptair at terminal 4. Whereas the best place to meet him inside the terminal? Also what are the parking options? Thanks in advance!

Meet your friend at terminal 4 arrivals on the 1st floor. The parking there is about 6-12 dollars for an hour.

Hi We will be ariving from Cleveland to JFK via Delta at Terminal 3 and we have to catch Air India flight from Terminal 4. Do we have to pass the security check again. We have 2 hours time. On internet I am watching that flight is delaying a lot. Thanks,

Yes you will have to clear security again and two hours is enough to make a connection especially when your second flight is delayed.

i think delta offers a bus from terminals 2/3 to terminal 4 that drops you offer after security so you don't have to go through it again.

I am planning for a trip to Pittsburgh via JFK. I'll be landing on JFK on Emirates flight and have to catch a connecting flight on American Airlines to Pittsburgh. It will be my first time travel to USA.
1. What would be the safe time required between connections so that I don't miss the domestic flight?
2. What options are available for transfer between the terminals?
3. Any lounge/hotel in the terminal which i can book to freshen up before the onward flight?
4. Is there any smoking area within the terminals?

Thanks for your reply

1. In my opinion 2.5 to 3 hours between the flights.
2. Use the air trains located at every terminal it is fast free and easy.
3. Terminal 4 is open 24/7 for you to stay and that is the terminal which you will arrive upon at JFK airport.
4. There are some smoking huts outside every terminal.

Hello everybody,

I arrive in Terminal 1 with Air France, and I have to Terminal 4 with Carabbean air line. i would like to know please, how to change terminal (by shuttle, bus, foot...) and how long time it is approximatly?
Thanks in advance for the replay....
Cheers

Take an air train on the 3rd floor it will get you to terminal 4 in about 5 to 10 minutes if not less. You are very welcome. Enjoy your journey.

I arrive in terminal 4 via Emirates and I have a connecting flight to Boston from terminal 8 via a american airlines flight. I have to go through immigration and also collect by baggage at T4. Is there a american airline counter in T4 where i can check in my bag or do I have to do it in T8??

You have two options here:
- re-check the bags at Emirates connecting flights counter(located right after customs)at T4 or
- take your bags with you to T8 and re-check them there at AA check-in counters.
