For now I have the information that this flight will land at 9:40 PM (Kiev time) since Borispol Airport is closed till 9:00 PM due to volcanic dust in the clouds. I hope it will not change and their trip won't last longer. Do you know what the airplane might do during three hours more in the flight, flying near the airport or what? I'm sorry for kind of stupid questions, but I worry about them.
Infant Formula to bring into America

I was after some information about bringing about 6 tins of unopened infant formula (for my daughter) from Australia on a flight into America for our stay as I am sure we can not get this brand in NYC.

I'd say if the containers are unopened and you put them in your checked luggage, it should be no problem.
air india delayed again??
Does anyone know if air india took off today 4/16/10. Also if it will take off tomorrow 4/17?? The air india office kept saying it was cancelled for today but the website is showing that it's on time so I just wanted to know if it left today and I missed it.

Just wondering whether there are any flights to JFK from Europe that are not cancelled and which countries/airports are these from...am stuck in Europe and will go to almost anywhere to fly out.

All flights from Northern and Western Europe are cancelled until at least 0700 hours Sunday 18 April until futher notice. Furthermore all British Airport Authority (BAA) airports including Heathrow have cancelled all incoming and outgoing flights over UK airspace until 1900 hours Sunday 18 April at the earliest.

Are there domestic delays at JFK?
I'm flying into JFK late on Saturday from California for a funeral on Sunday and then coming right back. I do not want to go at all if my flight is delayed more than an hour or two. Is the situation in Europe having any affect on coast-to-coast traffic?

I would not bank on it because the KLM website says that the airline is recommending rebooking flights for after the 21st at no cost to the traveler.

Flight NY to London
Hi, we travel tomorrow morning friday from San Jose (Costa Rica) to NY JFK and have our next flight to London at 9pm with American Airlines AA132 (our final destination is Brussels). As it seems this flight to London will be cancelled following many forecasts, are we going to stay at a hotel in NY to get the next plane to London on saturday ? I'm travelling with my husband and 2 little kids, so i'm worried about what will happen. Thanks !

Indeed the airspace above northern and western Europe and the UK has been closed untill further notice, regarding the vulcanic eruptions in Iceland.
Do not worry too much. The airspace officials are concerned of the safety of the airspace and it will not open before it is completely safe to fly again.
