Take the NJ Transit train from Perth Amboy to Penn Station, then either LIRR (faster) or E subway from there to Jamaica, then transfer to AirTrain to terminals. Travel time on NJ Transit is about one hour to Penn Station, 45 minutes to JFK on LIRR and a little over one hour by subway.

Thank you very much!

"I will be arriving in JFK at 3:00 pm by Qatar Airways (Terminal 8) and have a connecting flight to go to LAX at 5:58 pm, with United (Terminal 7). My question is, after custom and immigration clearance does JFK Terminal 8 have a luggage drop off area for connecting flights? Or will I have to take my luggage to Terminal 7 where my flight is departing from. If I have to take it to Terminal 7, then do they allow trolleys on the AirTram which will take me to Terminal 7?

my flight will be arrive at Terminal 7 and I need to connect domestic Delta airline at Terminal 3. can you guide me how to go from terminal 7 to terminal 3 ?

An air train on track 2 to terminal 3 from terminal 7.

hi, i am arriving alone to jfk on august 31,at 2:00 pm.i have a reservation at the hudson hotel (356w/58th st' NY.) want to know if there i a shuttle from terminal 8,Or from somewhere else

I have a very tight plane change at JFK and would appreciate any assistance you can give me. I will arrive at JFK at 3:35 PM on Delta #2258 and I will need to get to the gate for an international Delta Flight # 132 that is departing at 4:25PM, that is only 50 minutes and I may need to go from terminal 2 to terminal 3. Should I try the walk way or the shuttle bus? Will need to go through security again?

Kline

No security again just walking from one arriving gate to the other departing gate.

I'm arriving on August, 19 probably on T8 and I'd like to go to Penn Station.
Which would be the shortest way?

Thanks
Wander

From T8 take AirTrain to Jamaica Station, transfer to LIRR to Penn Station. Travel time around 45 minutes. Taxi is about the same or longer depending on traffic.

pls help .loking for a Shuttle
from jfk,int'l airport(terminal 8)for one adult,to my hotel :(hudson).
address: 356 west/58th st' ,thanks!!

NYC taxi at ground transportation is around $60. Inquire at the Welcome Center about shared-ride shuttles to Manhattan.

My daughter is arriving from berlin at terminal 8. she has an outbound flight with plenty of time to spare from terminal 4. What services to porters offer to help her navigate from 8 to 4.

Hi,
My partner and I will be arriving at JFK Terminal 4 at 13:25 on Sept 26. We are staying on West 43rd Street, just off Times Square and would like to know the easiest way to get there, preferably a reasonable priced fair.

Also on our return journey back to JFK Terminal 4 on the 30th,our flight is at 19:30 so what time would you recommend we leave the city and head for the airport.. And any advice on transportation back to the airport.

Would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you :)

Penn Station is at 34th St so it's a long walk up to Times Square. Take the E subway from Jamaica Station via AirTrain on track 1 to 42nd St and you'll be a block away. Going back to JFK by public transportation you can take the E subway or LIRR (from Penn Station) to Jamaica, or A subway to Howard Beach Station, AirTrain to terminals serves both locations. Allow at least one hour travel time via public transportation so you should be on the way to the airport by 1600. It will cost $7.25 for AirTrain and subway.
