I need to do custom as well as luggage transfer can you please tell me right sequence/order of process. I am traveling with a 2 year old is there any help available with luggage transfer.

Hi. Couple years ago when i arrived to JFK, I paid fine $100 at airport because my mother put some meat for sandwiches for me that I didn't know about. It was in the sealed package, from the shop, even with the price. What kind of ticket it was? I'll be arraving on Sunday May 15th with American Airlines (operated by British Airways) from LHR at 4:50PM. I'm not a US citizen and will have to clear immigration. Will I be able to connect with my 6:25PM AA flight to SEA?
