Wonder if anyone knows or can help me with the best way to get from JFK airport mid day (Monday around 14:00) to 85 West Street at Albany Street, New York (close to ground zero). Don't really want to take subway as I have luggage, but don't want to spend too much money on a taxi. Anything in between? Share a van or a direct bus that stops close to this address or Ground Zero? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi, Are there any shuttle busses going to Brooklyn? I'm travelling from JFK to Brooklyn (Broadway & Flushing Avenue) next friday late afternoon. If not, how would I get there by public transport? Alternatively, how much would a taxi cost? Thanks!

By subway: take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to J subway to Flushing Ave/Broadway. Taxi will cost around $35.

Hi! I'm arriving at JFK in june 24 8:10am, and I'm going to bethlehem, i know that transbride buses take me from the airport directly to bethlehem. As Far as i know it is the only bus company that offers this service, but unfortunately, the only trip is at 3pm, and i need to be at bethlehem by noon.
Do you know if my information is correct? Is there any other option?
If not, how can i get to PABT ? Is there any cheap option? I want it to be as economic as possible but Also safe! Prices?
Thank you very much!

The only Transbridge bus departures from JFK are at 3:30pm and 7:00pm, so you'll need to go to PABT to get the Transbridge bus to Bethlehem. To PABT by:
1)NY Airports bus from terminal-$15.50
2)AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to 42nd St/PABT-$7.25
3)Taxi from terminal-$45+tolls+tip
There is a 10am and 12noon departure from PABT gate 8 stopping in Bethlehem, trip takes about 2 hours, fare around $22.

Thank you very much!! Your info was really helpful!! :)

Hello,
Flying in tomorrow to JFK and need to get to The New Yorker Hotel at 481 8th Avenue & 34th Street. What's the best way?
Thanks

hi i am flying into jfk at about 240 and need to get to willow grove in pa which route would i take and do you know the cost ?

This train route has fewest transfers:
1)take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station ($5).
2)take E subway ($2.25) or LIRR ($8.50/$6.25) to Penn Station.
3)take Amtrak ($40-one hour) or NJ Transit-NE Corridor train ($15.50-90 minutes) to Trenton.
4)take Septa regional rail towards Philadelphia and get off at Temple Univ.
5)take Septa regional rail towards Warminster and get off at Willow Grove. Total Septa fare is $9.50.

hi travelling from jfk to dresher can you advise on what route to take with train and cost ?

Take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station ($5), transfer to LIRR to Penn Station ($8.50 peak/$6.25 off peak). Take Amtrak train ($40-one hour) or NJ Transit-NE Corridor train ($15.50-90 minutes) from Penn Station to Trenton, transfer to Septa regional rail train towards Center City-Philadelphia to Market East Station, transfer to Septa regional train towards Lansdale/Doylestown and get off at Ft. Washington which is closest station to Dresher. Total Septa fare is $9.50.

I am arriving at 11:30 pm at JFK Dec. 29 '11.
Just wondered which is the safest/cost effective way to get from JFK to Brooklyn in the early hrs of the 30th Dec.? Just concerned about carting luggage in the dark, snow and in an unfamiliar place from the subway?
Also, approx. how much would a shuttle from JFK to Brooklyn central be?
Thanks! :)

Take a taxi, cost around $40. You don't want to be lugging your bags on the subway late at night.

I need some directions and guidance. I will be arriving into JFK and may I know the various means of transport to get into Westin Jersey City Newport. Does JFK offer transport options to NJ. Seeking your best advice. Thank you. *Felix*

Taxi would cost you about $75. You can also take public transportation as the Newport PATH station is one block from hotel; take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to either LIRR or E subway to Penn Station. Walk east on 33rd St. to PATH station at 6th Ave, take the PATH Yellow line to Newport.
