Do i need a visa to change planes at JFK ?
Hi ,
I am an Indian citizen intending to travel to canada. Planning to take Air-india flight from New delhi to JFK , change planes and take a Delta flight from JFK to Montreal. Would i need any kind of US visa just to change planes from JFK airport ? I have a canadian visa but not any US visa.

My mom and siblings have been stranded at the airport since last night, she does not know english, LH lost her luggage so she cant take her medication. Air Traffic Control delay
I was on a flight from Portland, ME to JFK on March 11th that was delayed. The airine initially told us it was because of an air traffic control issue at JFK. Several hours later, when the plane arrived and we got on, the crew told us it was because of mechanical problems on the plane. When I tried to get compensation from the airline for my hotel (as I missed a connecting flight and had to stay overnight in NY), they are now again saying it was an air traffic control problem. How can I find out if there was an air traffic control issue on March 11th? Thanks so much.

Hi - we have a 7 hour lay over in JFK (Miami - JFK - London Heathrow) on a through ticket. We land at JFK at 1430 - would it be feasible to head into the city on a pre-booked private tour/hop in a taxi? What time would we have to be back at the airport for our 2130 flight? I assume it wont be 3 hours prior to the flight time as we will have 'cleared customs' in Miami and wont have any luggage?

Hello, I hope someone can help. I have a puppy arriving at JFK but was told to pick the dog up I must go to cargo building 261 Air France/KLM, Jamaica,NY. Once I get to JFK is this building in the same area? Hopefully someone can put me in the right direction. Thank you!

You cannot wait at the curb. If she has a cell phone you can park in the "cell phone waiting area", wait in your car until she calls you that she is ready to be picked up and you can pick her up at the terminal. You cannot park and leave your car there! Otherwise you can park in the orange parking area for terminal 7 and wait for her in the arrivals area outside of customs.
