What time does the airport security open my flight leaves at 630 in the morning what time should I get to the airport
Be there at 400am-430am.
Be there at 400am-430am. every terminal opens up at different time, but if the flight leaves at 0630 they will open at 400am.
Flying in on august 3rd
hey I am flying here from turkey on the 3rd of august i get there at 9 pm i want to check out time square I will be staying in jaimaca. I leave at 630 the next morning but I am not planning on sleeping will time square still be popping at like 1200 am on thursday morning or should I just stay in my hotel and sleep would it be worth checking out?

Disappointing service
Yesterday I was waiting to depart with an AA flight to Milan, the departure was scheduled at 5:45pm at gate 16.
The flight has been initially delayed of 1 hr, then we boarded on the aircraft.
They made us waiting on the plane for 2 hrs at least with few and not so clear explanations. They said that there is only one runway available because the other ones have been damaged by a hurricane.
After that they told us that there was a problem on the air conditioning system and we had to go back to the gate.
We went then to gate no. 8 and they proceeded with a new boarding that took so long time.
After that we remained in the plane another 1hr and half at least with no news from the crew.
At the end, after 2 hrs we were again in the gate.
They said the flight was canceled because of too many hrs of the personnel on board.
UNBELIEVEABLE!!!
Then we took long time to get a new scheduling for this afternoon as well as the hotel.
Furthermore I don't want to speak of the taxi driver from the airport to the hotel.
He was really a street pirate and he has also been stopped by the police.
I can wait to forget about this last two days as soon as possible.
What I want to tell is that people in certain position must learn to do its job, because I work in the customer service and I ensure that nobody can accept such a situation both from the airport management nor from the airline.
bus station to JFK airport inquiries
Can someone suggest me how I can get to JFK airport from greyhound bus station? What are my options and approximately how much it will cost. I'd also like to know how far it is from the bus station. I have never been to new york; any advice would be appreciated. THanks for any help!
The NYAS express bus runs
The NYAS express bus runs every 20-30 minutes from Port Authority Bus Terminal where Greyhound is located to JFK, cost is $15, travel time about 1 hour. You can also take the Jamaica-bound E subway from 42nd St./Port Authority to Sutphin Blvd./JFK and transfer to the Airtrain to your terminal, cost is $7.25, travel time 1.25 hours. First time in NY...take the NYAS bus.

We have a Delta flight into JFK terminal 3 this week and a connecting Delta flight from terminal 3 to Israel that has a scheduled departure an hour later. When we booked it, the Delta agent said that was enough time, but I'm now thinking it might be very tight with the added gate security at the Israel gate, even though our bags are checked through and we're in the same terminal. Is there anything we can do (e.g. tell the flight attendant on the domestic flight about the connection and she cal call ahead to tell them to wait?) If we miss that flight, we're pretty badly messed up because the flights the next 2 days are all booked full.
Outrageous management of air traffic
I am writing from a plane sitting on the runway at JFK. We have been sitting here for more than an hour with no end in sight. I understand that work is being done on the runway and it is important for the long term improvment of he airport, but someone needs to do a better job of managing the traffic. Tell airlines to cut back on flights. Find a way to route cross traffic better so flights can take off and land more rapidly. Tell airlines not to load planes until there is a slot to take off. Anything is better than his situation, which is completely unacceptable. I am in the customer service industry and if I did this to my customers, I would be fired. It's not acceptable.
