Hello.
I don't know if this is the right place to post that. If not, my apologies.
We are going to travel to San Francisco from Spain in september, and we have to "stop" in JFK for 11 hours (!). Then, we will fly to San Francisco. My question is: Can we visit NY in those 11 hours, or must we to stay inside the airport?
Sorry for my english!
Thank you,
Pedro

Hola.
Gracias y saludos,
Pedro

Can I bring sandwich from home to pass through security and eat on plane? Thanks

I'm traveling into JFK the morning of July 4 from Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is the first time I will ever be traveling by myself and I need to catch a flight to RDU in NC two hours later. I am a US citizen.

In order to ensure that I don't have any problems in those two hours, could you please walk me through exactly what I need to do in the airport. For example, will I be going through customs? Will I have to claim my baggage and then re-check it for the second flight because of customs or will it be automatically transferred over for me? Etc, etc.

Thank you so much for your help!

Does the airport stay open 24/7?

Yes they are 24/7 but there is a certain time in which they stop working 'but airport remains OPEN' because of many flights arriving overnight in the very early mornings

Hi JFK
I am arriving on 4 July at 5.15pm at your Terminal 7 from LAX on Qantas QF107.

I wish to transfer to Newark to join friends who are arriving on British Airways from London.

Can you please advise me on a shuttle transfer to Newark, the usual time/duration involved, and the costs.

Thanks
MJM
