US to Puerto Rico-/need passport!??!!??

My friend and I are going to VA, but he's not legal, and all he has is a picture id and a passport with an expired visa. Will this be a problem even if it's domestic flying?? He's paranoid about going on a plane and suggests greyhound but his bags are way too heavy to lung around after wards.

as long as the passport is not expired he is ok; even the passport is not US passport.

You can bring either your passport or drivers license. Use your own discretion in this case.

Driving license is OK as well.

I'm going to puerto Rico and was told I wouldn't need passport. Is that true? Mine expired. Have license.

If your passport is expired you can always take a drivers license to Puerto Rico.

Driving license is OK as well.

janice nelsonI am arriving JFK approx 3p on 3/3/11 in terminal 2 from SLC needing to transfer to T1 for Turkish Air flight out at 4:45p to Istanbul. Is this adequate time for fetching luggage and airtraining from T2 to T1?

You have time;no need to take airtrain - T1 is within walking distance(5mins) from T2. Speak to Delta in SLC regarding transferring your bags at JFK over to Turkish Airline.

My mother will be arriving to JFK via Finnair from Finland. She does not speak English. Does the airport have a service - fee or non-fee - that would cover someone meeting her at the gate, walk through customs and take her to her connecting flight to Atlanta?

yes.there is a volunteer group of travelers assistance at teh ground transportation or research them at Travellers aid. not sure they can meet her before immigration/customs, they will confirm

Which bookstores are located in JFK?

I was given the number 718 751-2252 in Istanbul to call about ticket refund...booked for Istanbul departure. Number is incorrect and it is difficult to speak with Istanbul office. What is correct number?
