Western Union at JFK is located at T4 or T7(Travelex). I agree - tough lesson top be learnt here - never trust "gipsy" cabs - those are so called hasslers!

This evening july 18,2011 i took a cab from the airport registation number 8D40. Up on reaching my destination the meter said total $18.50 i gave the driver $20.00 he then said get out there is the hotel. I ask the drive for my change he said what change get out. I then called 911 after the cab driver got loud n push me to get out of his car.i would like to know if this is how customers get treated when they take these yellow cab from JFK Airport. Next i 8ill not take any of these yellow taxi cabs.

He was angry about not getting a big tip, however, his attitude was rude and out of place.

How much does it cost by taxi to go from JFK airport to Southampton,NY? There is a alternative way? There are just 2 trains (LIRR) from Jamaica at 6:17 pm and 8:53 pm on Wed and I arrive with an intercontinental flight at 1 pm...Thank you for your help!

You're looking at $175 or more by taxi. Take the train, it's much cheaper even thought you may have to wait for the next train.

I would like get a taxi from FK airport to Washinton DC (Bethesda). How much does it cost?

Forget it, no NYC taxis will take you from JFK to DC, plus you can fly to DC cheaper than what a taxi would charge you! Delta and American Eagle have flights from JFK to Washington-Reagan National and United has flights to Washington-Dulles. You can also take the Amtrak train from Penn Station (starts @ $60) or Megabus or Boltbus ($25) from near Penn Station to DC. You can reach Penn Station from JFK by taxi ($55), NYAirports bus ($15) or AirTrain/LIRR ($13).

What is the Taxi Van rate for a family: 2 parents, 4 kids, with luggage from JFK to Brooklyn Heights on a Tuesday @ 2PM ?

Inquire at Ground Transportation for van service and rates. Taxi will only take a maximum of 4 persons. Taxi from JFK to The Heights would normally be around $50.

What is the best way to get to Giant Stadium from JFK. I arrive with the family on July 17 around 2:00 pm and want to get to the Meadowlands complex. Thanks
