Operated by - The airport has been operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey under a lease with New York City since 1947.

After the September 11, 2001 attacks, JFK was one of the first airports in the United States to be temporarily closed.

I will be arriving JFK on a friday during rush hour to Park Central Hotel. 2 adults and 2 children with luggage (3 pieces). How much would cost a taxi? Is it possible to fit 2 adults + 2 kids and luggage?

I will be flying out of JFK (Jet Blue) on Friday (3.18).
It's my husband, 2 kids, and myself.
We plan on doing curbside check in.
We have 2 car seats and 2 suitcases to check in.
Is there anyone around that would be able to help us get to check in once the car drops us off?
We will also have my daughter in her stroller (which we plan on gate checking).
Im just trying to figure out, how in the world we are getting all of this stuff from the ride (shared van) to check in.

Thanks so much for any replies/advice!

I have a flight at 6:30am on Thursday. I am trying to figure out what time I should be at the airport. I ask because on my last recent flight, the 2-3 arrival time that is recommended by the TSA was moot b/c the Ticket counter didn't open until 5am and I had a 630am flight, which I almost missed. I don't want to show up at the airport 2-3 hours ahead if I just have to stand in line if the ticket counter isn't open. Very frustrating.

My dad is comming to NYC to visit me. He had thrombosis in the past and the doctor prescribed him a injectable medicine - he must take it 3 hours prior to any flights.

Is there any medical care/center inside the airport we could use?

Best Regards,
Adriana

Unfortunately not at JFK Airport.

Use either the one at bldg 14 or the medical Center behind Citibank.

where do I meet my family there landing on 3-13-11 and will be going thru customs?

I am arriving at JFK on Flight DL2090 and connecting to Frankfurt on DL 106. What terminals do these flights land and depart from and is an hour and 20 minutes sufficient time to make the connection?

First flight may land you at terminal 2 or 3 the second will most likely be out of terminal 4. If your first flight is domestic then yes you will make your connection.
