I will arrive terminal 3 around 2 pm on a Delta flight, and transfer to terminal 1 for international flight (Air China) around 5 pm.

1, Do I have to exit terminal 3 to get on the air train for terminal 1? if so , which track?
2, Do I have to go through security check again in terminal 1?
3, I need to get boarding pass at the Air China counter in terminal 1, will 3 hr enough for all the process?

Thanks a lot!

1)Yes, track 2 from T3 to T1.
2)Yes
3)Yes

Hi! I'm arriving by Delta to JFK, Terminal 3 at 3:40 pm from Toronto, and then pick an Aeroflot flight from Terminal 1 at 7 pm. I'm not US citizen and those flights are not connected. So I'm wondering if 3:20 hours is enough to claim luggage, pass customs and immigration, arrive to Terminal 1 and do almost the same steps in opposite direction? Is there any way to get to Terminal 1 from 3rd without passing security line? Thank you.

You will clear US customs in Toronto prior to departure so no need to deal with customs at JFK. Pick up your luggage at T3 and take AirTrain on track 2 to T1 for Aeroflot check-in and clear security to gate.

Quick question for those who have flown in to JFK before:

Delta flight 123 is scheduled to arrive at 13:15 from SNN, so presumably Terminal 3 and immigration already cleared in Shannon.

What time do you think we might arrive at the Millennium Hilton if travelling by taxi?

I will be traveling from Istanbul to Ohio, through JFK in New York. I will be changing airlines from Delta to American to go on to Ohio. Would you please tell me how this can be accomplished, from getting my luggage after getting off the Delta flight from Istanbul, to traveling from terminal 3 to terminal 8 to check in with American.
Thanks!

After you clear customs at T3 take AirTrain on track 2 from T3 to T8 and proceed to American check-in.

appreciated !

Hi all,

what's the best and the cheapest Way to get from JFK to NYC, Subway Train?
Thank's for all your Help. I will arrive in JFK from Oversea at April, 16th

Cheers

Take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Times Square area and then south to WTC site, J subway to lower Manhattan/Wall St. or LIRR to Penn Station-33rd & 7th Ave. AirTrain/subway is $7.25 and LIRR is about $5-$7 more.

I will be arriving to JFK airport by 5:50 Friday 15/04/11 by Arik Airlines and will be traveling to Jackson Michigan by train say by 4pm. Which is the cheapest and best way to go? What will the cost be for me and my son of 11 years?

To get to Jackson, MI by train you first need to get to Penn Station from JFK; you can take the NY Airporter bus ($15) or AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station ($5) and transfer to LIRR to Penn Station. There is one daily departure of the Amtrak Lake Shore Limited train from Penn Station at 3:45pm. You will take that train to Toledo, Ohio, transfer to a bus to Ann Arbor, MI and then transfer to the Wolvernine train to Jackson. If you arrive at JFK Friday morning you can easily make the 3:45pm departure, otherwise you will need to wait until 3:45pm the next day. You can also take that Amtrak train to Chicago and transfer to the Wolverine train there to Jackson. Travel time including layovers is about 22-24 hours and cost is about $255 through Toledo and around $300 through Chicago, for both of you. See Amtrak's website www.amtrak.com

I am flying from Saudi Arabia to Minneapolis with a connection in NYC, however in NYC I have to change airports. There is a 5 hours layover time. I have reserved a private Van for me and my family to take us from JFK to Laguardia Airport to take the 2:25 pm flight to Minneapolis. Is this enough time? any suggestions?
Thank you
