You will not have problems . Alitalia will check you in even without middle names in the reservation...The problem that you might have is clearing security at JFK - as long as you are holding passport with your first and last name matching with the boarding pass names, you should be fine.

I am flying on the 17th of December. I arrive into Penn Station, NY at 6.40 and have heard it takes an hour on the subway to get to JFK thus I would arrive at JFK at 7.40. My flight is at 9.40. I will have to check in a bag. Is this enough time?

You should be fine with that timetable.

Dear JFK airport guide,
I am arriving JFK on Sunday morning at 1040 via Korean airline. I need to get to the hotel at 152 W 26th St, New York, NY, 10001. If I catch airtrain and subways to get to hotel, what is the best way to get there? Would it be feasible to do so with suitcases? Is there escalators/lifts in NY subway stations?
Thank so much in advance.

Kind Regards;
G

I think the easiest is to take the Airtrain to Jamaica Station and transfer to the LIRR to Penn Station, 34th Street and 7th Avenue. From there you could easily catch a cab if you have a lot of luggage or just walk down 7th Avenue to 26th Street! Have a nice trip.

Dear JFK employee,
I'm travelling on 14 Dec on DELTA Airlines from Cairo to Los Angeles, I have a connection in JFK the flight arrive at T3@0515 - leaves from T2@0700. All flights are Delta. (I'm not a US Citizen but I have a visitor Visa). Please help me with answering the questions:
1- Do I have enough time?
2- Do I have to declare on the Immigration & Customs?
3- Do I have to check-in the luaggage once again? and in which terminal?
4- What is the fastest way to go from T3 to T2 (beside walking)?
Incase, The flight was delayed or I didn't catch the flight que to a que in the immigration & customs.. what should I do?

Hey Mira,
1. You do have time to make the connection.
2. Yes, you have to pass US immigration and US customs.
3. After you pass US customs you will have to recheck the bags at Delta connecting flights counter. It is located right after the customs at T3.
4. There is no sense to use any other meaning of transportation between T3 and T2 besides walking. The two terminals are connected . Right after the connecting flights counter you will clear security and then go to the second floor. There just follow the signs to your gate - it is no more than 5 min walking.
If you miss the flight go to any Delta counter and they will rebook you for the next flight . There are flights leaving at 9:00am and 12:00 noon to LAX.

I have only 1 hour and 40 minutes to transfer from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1. Plus I have a luggage to claime.

I arrived via Delta from San Francisco but will leave with Turkish airline to Istanbul. Is it enough time for me to catch the time?

Plus any one knows the walking distance from T2 to T1?

Many thanks

You have enough time - the walking distance between T2 and T1 is about 5 mins.
Check with Delta - they may check your bags all the way through IST; then you don't have to claim your bags.

Hello, My son is arriving to JFK Terminal 8 (AA 0045) December 27th from Paris at 13:40. His connection flight leaves from Terminal 5 to PBI (B6 0076) at 16:00.
Issuing airline is American Airlines.

My questions are:
1. Will he have enough time to change terminals from 8 to 5? I suppose, he has to declare in the immigration @ customs?
2. Does he have to check-in the luggage or do the luggage move automatically to the connection flight?
3. What about, when he comes back home on January 5th. PBI-JFK is arriving at 15:27 (B6 0076) to Terminal 5 and the connection flight (AA 0044) leaves to Paris from Terminal 8 at 17:05. Enough time?

Thanks in advance
