Flight Connection
Our AA Flt. #40 scheduled arrival at JFK at 07:30 pm. We'll have only 1 hr and 10 minutes to catch AA Flt. #152 to continue flight to Barcelona. Is the 1 hr 10 minute stop-over enough time to make the connection? Thanks in advance for your response.

In a couple of months my wife and I will be travelling from Halifax, Canada to JFK on AA 4458, arriving at 7:40am, landing at terminal 8. We need to make a 9:00am connecting flight to LAX, AA 0001, at terminal 4.
1) Will we need to collect and recheck our bags
2) And if so, will we have enough time (We clear US customs in Canada).

travel from Canada thru JFK to LAX
American Airlines Flight number 1 leaves at 9:00 from Terminal 8 according to my travel agent. It is not at Terminal 4. With that said I believe you have a short time to clear customs and grab luggage and recheck it to LAX. Is there any way you can check the luggage through to LAX?

Anyone who knows about the smoking areas at teminal 8? Is there any possibilities before outside the building?

Terminal 8 Short Term Parking
How close is Terminal 8 short term parking to the terminal? Is it a walk? I am travelling for one overnight and want to leave my car there vs. long term parking.

On 3/18, my girlfriend and I are coming from opposite directions but checking in together at Terminal 8 for an American Airlines flight. Is there an easy to find curbside check in area where we can wait for each other to arrive?
Connecting time for an International flight
I'm traveling on a Saturday morning. Is it enought time to catch a connecting flight that is from JAXto JFK on JetBlue that arrives at on 1:55 and my International Flight on Air China departs at 3:50? I have bags that need to checked.
customs and immigration
I am on an AA international flight from Milan to JFK, but my final destination is Knoxville. As part of immigration, will my bags come out and need to be rechecked before I go to the gate for my next flight? If so, and I want to stay in NYC and skip the second flight to Knoxville, can I just leave and take my bags with me?

We are departing this Thursday Mar. 3rd at 7:30am on AA from JFK Terminal 8 to St. Maarten in the Caribbean. Question: is the security line huge at Terminal 8 that time? We are a film camera crew of 6 and will have a fair amount of gear. The AA rep at the main phone number had no idea--but I thought you may.
