At JFK since it is your first U.S entry point. You will clear both immigration and customs which may take you up to one hour. You should have enough time for your connection.

So, I must get the suitcase with me and then drop it again, after customs? Thank-you.

Yes.

Is there a choice of restaurants in T8. thanks!

Not that much of a choice at terminal 8. For best choice go to terminal 4 in the pre security area. Lots of restaurants there with good food!

Hello, I would like to ask a question. My arrival will be by Air Berlin (from Germany) at 3:45 p.m. Terminal Number 8. I am not a U.S. citizen. Connecting flight at 7:45 p.m. approximately Delta Terminal 3 with direction Toronto, Canada. Is that enough time for all the formalities? Are there things I should note as well? Thank you for the information!

Yes and Yes.

Hello I am arriving from MIA in flight AA2086 at 21:15 on 17-Aug-11, I believe I will arrive in T8 as this is the American terminal..I will depart to Dubai in Emirates flight EK202 at 23:00...how long does it takes to go from T4 to T8??..I guess the best way to go is by skytrain right?
Thanks a lot.

Yes, take AirTrain on track 2 from T8 to T4, travel time about 5 minutes.

Dear JFK Specialist,
After arriving to Terminal 8, how can I go to Terminal 7? Where can I find the info.?
Thanks a lot.

Question is addressed to JFK_Specialist not B2G. From terminal 8 take an air train on track 2 to terminal 7. Less than one minute air train trip.

Sorry, didn't mean to step on your toes! At least we both had the correct response.

You didnt step on my toes brother! I think that it is just not right to answer a question that was addressed to someone else. We both have a place here to answer travelers` questions in a professional manner.

Agreed! What can be done about the person who signs on as B2G. and B2G, (with either a period or comma)? Not sure if he's trying to impersonate, imitate or just messing around, but he's giving wrong information which is very unprofessional. Isn't there a moderator who can filter bad information provided?

My understanding is that you are accusing me of signing as B2G. or B2G, which is out of line and you are overstepping your boundaries. I am sure nice site administrators will do their best to block access to people that give out wrong information on this forum board.
