If you are flying on Jet
If you are flying on Jet Blue to SYR then you won't be able to transfer your bags at the connecting flights counter since Jet Blue does not have baggage transfer agreement with most of the airlines at JFK.
In that case you have to take your bags with you to Terminal 5 and check them in there.
I will be arriving JFK
I will be arriving JFK Terminal 7 at 1.10pm and catching a connecting flight to Atlanta in Terminal 3 at 4.35pm.
I am a freshman and will be coming into US with a student visa.
Is there enough time for me to processed my entry into USA and catch the next flight out?
How do I get to Terminal 3 from Terminal 7 and is it easy for me to move around with 2 luggages and a carry-on bag?
Do I need to prepare coins for the use of a trolley?

Your time frame is enough. You will need to get Airtrain across the street from T7, on track 2, to Terminal 3. To get a baggage cart you will need either a credit card or paper bills - the charge is $5.
Baggage carts are allowed on the Airtrain.

hi, I am a tourist and currently here in Jordan. I'm planning to go to Haiti next month. but when i looked at the flights, all have atleast 2 stop overs. I am wondering if i need a transit visa for Amsterdam, JFK, NY, GA.. I am not a US passport holder. I am Asian by the way. please help.. thanks

lost baggage
my mother flew from dublin to shannon and then from shannon to JFK on the 4th of august with aer lingus and then got another connecting flight with american airlines to miami then onto mexico ...when she arrived in miami she realised her suitcase hadnt arrived in miami! so i am trying to find out if her case is still in JFK! could somebody please help me as she is in mexico for 3 and a half weeks and now has no case!

I'm a US citizen flying into Terminal 3 on Delta on Aug 26. I will be with my 16 year old son who will be on a UK passport. The purpose of our journey is to collect his US citizenship certificate. I will have all the papers on me including the invitation from Citizenship & Immigration Services. I need him to go through immigration with me - will there be any problems I should prepare for.
