Hello

I am flying from the uk on American Airlines, landing at JFK then flying our to Orlando (same airline), Do I need to collect my luggage, go through customs then go to my connecting flight.

Thanks You

Yes, you will collect your luggage, clear customs/immigration, drop your luggage at the AA connecting flights counter and proceed upstairs to the departure level, clear security and then to your departure gate to Orlando.

I'm arriving from Ireland and need to travel from Terminal 4 to Jamaica station. Can I buy a single journey Airtrain ticket in the airport? Also how long does baggage reclaim usually take? Thanks for your help

Yes, you'll just pay $5 when you exit the AirTrain at Jamaica. Where you'll also have to buy a MetroCard if you wanna continue your journey via subway.

I have to fly for Toronto, by Alitalia, but I dont know if I need transit visa, because i have to change plane in JF Kennedy?

Please can inform me somebody about this?

Regards,

Alfred

You will need a valid US visa or transit visa.

My mother-in-law needs help past security to find the gate. She cannot read/speak English. She is traveling to Delhi via Dubai from JFK in Emirates (T4) on August 11th. I just called Emirates and they said they do not have any special service at JFK. How do we get this service or is there a way for me to get past the security and take her to the gate? Thank you.

Please could someone offer a suggestion as to which is the cheapest manner of transferring from jfk to the Days inn hotel on 94th street. Many thanks.

Cheapest by far is by Airtrain/subway ($7.25). Take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station. Take the E subway (white letter E in blue circle) to 42nd St. Get off there and follow the signs to transfer to the 1,2,3 subways (white numbers in red circle), take the uptown 1,2 or 3 subway to 96th St. Walk two blocks south on Broadway to 94th St. and turn left.

Hello, I'm travelling from London to Toronto-CA on 21st of september and I have a stopover in JFK airport and I would like to know if I will also have to go through US costums and if 3 month stay period as a tourist that is allowed in US will start running on the same day?

Thank you for your answer.

Yes mate, you ll have to go through customs and immigration even if you are just doing a stop over. Also the day the immigration stamps your passport will be the day that you ll have to start counting on your stay. Also, if you need a visa to enter the US you ll need a visa even if you are just in transit. Hope this will help.

where is turkish airlines ticket sales office in terminal 1, I am currently in terminal 1 and have to find this place right away(not Turkish airlines ticket counter)

My wife will be arriving from Moscow July 31. Flt 31..arrival gate 1. She has connecting flt to CVG Dep gate 11. Is this all in terminal 3 ? Also..where is customs ? Is it in termnial 3 or does she have to go to teminal 2 to clear?

I am travelling bwack from Peru via JFK to Dublin & will have a 9 hrs wait between flights, will I have time to leave the airport & visit Manhattan?? If so which is the best way to get in & out of the city.
Thanks everyone!

The website says flights are delayed because of weather. My daughter is trying to get home to Chicago from NYC on Jet Blue on a flight that was supposed to leave at 8:45 pm tonight. Now it's delayed until 1 am! There is no bad weather between Chicago and New York! The only bad weather is around DC and it's not that bad! Even if some aircraft were delayed earlier in the day, delays should be decreasing, not increasing. Every time she looks, she's scheduled to leave later and later! What gives? Weather that occurred hours ago should not be causing a FOUR HOUR DELAY!!!!!!
