Connecting Flight
Hi,
I'll be flying Dublin to London and then to JFK with AA, in JFK I will have to connect with my flight to Mexico City (I arrive and depart in T8).
Will my bags go the whole way to Mexico or do I have to collect them in JFK and check in again?
I have never gone on a long haul fight so just wondering what happens.
Also what exactly happens when you are just passing through a US airport to your final destination? (Just used to getting through quickly here in borderless E.U!!)

LOST BAGGAGE WITH MEDICAL SUPPLIES
On June 5th, I traveled from Tampa, FL to New York JFK airport with American Airlines. My next connecting flight to Warsaw was delayed by 20 hours and LOT airlines never got the bag I checked in in Tampa. Along the way, in the airport hassle, I accidentally threw out my baggage stickers (this is a big problem now). The bag did not arrive at my final destination, Minsk.
I am very worried about losing my bag because it has all of my diabetes supplies in it. What can I possibly do to recover it? Where might it be now? Where can I call or email? The only information I have is the Record Locator from my boarding pass Tampa-NY, my electronic ticket number, and a description of the bag. The agents at the Minsk airport sent a telegram to NY about this, but no reply followed.

Transfer between Terminals
I will be flying from RIC on Jet blue on September 11 2010 with my child and arriving on T6 at 20.00. Then I have to catch a flight of EK on T4 to Dubai which departs at 2300. Do I have enough time to transfer between Terminals? What is the best way to do so? How long does it take to get the luggage once I land in JFK and how fast can I get to T4 to do the check-in for my next flight.

Thank you for your answer about my student! She is flying to JFK by Delta and then again by Delta to Minneapolis. Is she required to take passport control, the custums and get her luggage at JFK, or can she do everything in Minneapolis? She is an RF citizen. Waiting for your answer! Svetlana.
