You have two subway alternatives. Take the Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica station:
1. Take the E subway to Forest Hills, transfer to the G subway to Nassau Ave. That station is at Nassau & Manhattan Aves. on the border of N. Williamsburg and Greenpoint.
2. Take the J subway to Marcy Ave. That station is at Marcy & Broadway in the heart of Williamsburg.
Either will cost $7.25 total. My guess is #1 would be the best.

Is there an electric buggy available as an alternative instead of the wheel chair at JFK ?

Hi, I will be arriving at JFK (end of July) from Orlando via JetBlue Airways, ETA 6.31pm. I need to catch an international flight SQ to Frankfurt with ETD 9.25pm. There will be a number of luggages with me and family, and since we are not US citizens, I assume there might be additional immigration procedures to go through.

I have a number of questions: (1) after we collect our luggages from JetBlue, can we go straight to SQ check-in counter (2) what would be the arrival terminal for Jetblue and departing terminal for SQ, and how long would it take to get to the SQ terminal? (3) I heard that security screening at JFK is very tight. Do we need to go through the security again eventhough we arrive from Orlando? If we do, how long do we need to anticipate for the screening? (4) Is Jetblue usually on time, or do they have a track record of delay? If so, how long is the average delay? (5) assuming a normal delay of Jetblue, do you think that we have enough time to catch our SQ flight?

Many thanks for your assistance.

Hi,

My family just arrived at JFK. They checked in the baggage, but missed the flight. How we have to retrive the baggage now. Please advise.

I´m not satisfied with AA flight from Tampa to JFK on the 2nd and 3th. of May They cancelled fight two days in a row because of an airtraffic in JFK without any warning. All the other airlines (Delta, US-airways) could fly from Tampa to JFK at the same time and had no problem. Me and my family were lucky on the second day to get flight with US-airline to Laguardia.

I want to know what the real problem was because I will not buy that answear about airtraffic two days in a row.
What kind of airline is that - don´t they think about their customer.

1. Will they pay our connection flight we lost with another airline (we are family of 4 and had tickets to Europe)?
2. Will AA pay for hotelstay while for the one night we had to wait?
3. Will AA pay for cab to and from the airports?
4. Will AA pay for loss of payment for work as I came too late from vacation?

We also had a last minute cancelation of AA morning flight from Las Vegas to JFK on May 2. All other flights on that same route such as Delta and Jet Blue flew throughout the day without delay. AA blamed it on JFK air traffic controllers saying that due to anticipated weather later in the day, JFK can choose to cancel any flight at their discretion to make sure traffic does not get backed up later in the day. Weather was perfect all day in fact tailwinds allowed flights to land ahead of schedule. So what's the real story? I'd like to hear JFK's response.

Hi,
From Delta Airlines arriving in Terminal 3 from PUJ(Punta Cana) on 6:10 pm as scheduled I have to transfer to the Terminal 1 on the return flight to FRA (Frankfurt) by Lufthansa at 9:40 pm. I am a bit worrying because it is critical for me to be on time for the Lufthansa flight.

1. Will it be enough time to take through the passport control, laggage claim etc etc, reach Terminal 1 and check-in for Lufthansa?
2. What if I also need to visit the left laggage facility at Terminal 4 and take my bag from there?
3. What is the most efficient option to get from one Terminal to another? is there any free transportation?
4. How high is the probability of Delta's flight delay in PUJ? I understand it is a regular flight (Delta 490), how often it is delayed in practice?
5. Any advice how I may better secure my connection (manage to be on-time)? appreciate any tip.

Thank you in advance.

Are there any shuttles from JFK to Hoboken, NJ? And how much would a taxi cost from JFK to W hoboken?

Any 1 travelling from Dublin to SanFran via JFK on 21st May ??

I am traveling to NY(American Airlines) and would like to bring a new computer(iMac) into the original box, replacing the one of my 2 pieces of checked luggage. Knew about the embargo of boxes and wonder if it is valid for travel to Rio de Janeiro/Brazil.

Thanks

Is there a service of transportation between JFK and Newark on a regular basis? Thanks.

Hello,
Hope you can help me by recommending a transfer service from JFK to Newark. I arrive by Mexicana on 5/6. I saw a service called Goairporter, but I do not know if there is other options. Thanks in advance for your recommendation!

Hello, I am flying through JFK in July from DC to Accra Ghana on Delta which I always seem to have a bad experience with them when I travel through JFK. My concern is on the way back from Accra to JFK to DC my plane lands at 5pm and I depart to DC at 6:30PM From Accra Ghana on Delta in July. Will I have enough time to re check my bags to DC and clear Immigration and Customs??

with delta airlines, i have 1 hr 10 min to transfer from terminal 3 to 2 on the return leg to London from JFK. How do I transfer and will my luggage go direct to London, or do I need to re-check them. Will this all be manageable?

On 2010/04/28 I left Miami to Sao Paulo (GRU-Brazil) with one stop at JFK. [Fligths DL 1826 and DL 121]
Delta informed me that one of my baggage (DL982433) came from Miami to JFK but not from JFK to Sao Paulo.
At Delta bagage claim protocol GRUDL37591 I was assured that my baggage would be at my home the next day, but it didn't happend.
Could you help me find my baggage and make it to be send at my home?
Thank You,
