Taxis

Taxis are available at every terminal and there is a taxi stand where you will be directed to a taxi.

- use only taxis from the taxi dispatch booth (refuse offers for transportation from others)

- tipping is customary for good service (15 - 20%)

Hi, is it possible to pay a taxi with the credit card? Many thanks in advance

Many of the yellow cabs are equipped with CC reading devices - just check with the taxi dispatcher(or driver) before you get into the taxi.

I will need a ride from JFK airport to Sayville (at the Ferry terminal). Can I just take the yellow cab if yes do you know approximatly what will be the cost.
Thank you
Richard

Taxi would be extremely expensive from JFK all the way out to Sayville so take the LIRR! Take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station and take the LIRR from there to Sayville. At Sayville station you can take a local taxi to the ferry. Airtain fare is $5, LIRR fare is $11.50 peak and $8.25 off-peak. Here's the link for the LIRR Sayville schedule. http://mta.info/lirr/html/ttn/sayville.htm

Dear Sirs,

I have a little quistion:

Whar are the price for a cap from JFK to the Edison Hotel - Midtown.

Thanks.

Best wishes,
Mogens

Taxi from JFK to anywhere in Manhattan is a flat rate of $45+tolls+tip.

will a yellow cab be able to fit four people, three suitcases and a wheelchair folded down?

and how much will it cost to four points by sheraton midtown times square?

Four people aree the maximum for one cab so if everything fits in the cab (trunk and seats) the cost of the taxi to anywhere in Manhattan is $45+tolls+tip. If you cannot fit everything look into a shared van, inquire at the Ground Transportation counter.

What are the cab costs from JFK to Bronx at 9.30pm 1st August 2010?

Thanks

4 of us are on delayed flight arriving at JFK at 2:00am or even later. Is there still a good taxi service at that time of night? Thanks

Taxis are available 24/7 and probably the best option at that time of night.

Can I take a yellow cab to Greenwich CT?
If so, what would be the estimated fare, or would it be best if I arrange for a car at the Welcome Center?

Thanks.

We are 7 people traveling from JFK 10/11/10 .Do the Taxi companies at the Airport Have Mini Vans. If Not what would be the most cost effective Transportation method from this location. Thank myou

There are so called private vans. The can accommodate up to 10-12 people. Arrange one after you arrive in JFK at Ground Transportation(Welcome Center) counter at each terminal.
