Just want to find the cheapest way to get from JFK to Four Point in SoHo. My first time and just not sure what to do. Please help. Much thanks!!!

Cheapest is by AirTrain to subway ($7.25); take AirTrain from terminal to Howard Beach station, transfer to inbound A subway to Canal St, transfer to C or E subway for one stop-Spring St. Walk two blocks north to Charlton St and turn left to the hotel.

Hi, arriving Dec 2nd - 2 people. What would you recommend us: taking a shuttle or taxi from JFK to Best Western Plus Prospect Park in Brooklyn?

Taxi will cost around $40 + tip. There's a subway stop on the R line at 25th St a half block from the hotel if you want to take public transportation.

thanks!! :-)

Hello,

I need to travel to Washington Dulles International Airport from New Jersey. What would be the easiest train network to take? Is there any direct train between Dover station, NJ to IAD ... which I doubt? Is there any direct train from NYC-Penn Station to IAD? If yes, then what is the cost and how long does the travel take?
Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Vidya

IAD is not accessible directly by train; only by car, taxi or bus. Here's your train/bus route; take Amtrak from NY-Penn Station or Newark-Penn Station to Union Station-DC. Take DC Metrorail Red line (towards Shady Grove) from Union Station to Metro Center, transfer to the Orange line (towards Vienna) or Blue line (towards Franconia-Springfield) to Rosslyn, on street level transfer to the Metrobus 5A to IAD, buses run every half hour. Cost on the Northeast Regional Amtrak to DC ranges from $50-$75 depending on departure time, Acela high speed service is higher. DC Metrorail/bus is around $8. NE Regional train froim NY to DC is 3.5 hours, allow at least 1.5 hours travel from Union Station to IAD to include transfers.

Thanks a lot for the information.

Vidya

I'll arrive from brazil on 20dec2010...near 13pm...
and i'd like to know if is there any shuttle to ewr airport...how much does it cost? and how many minutes between both airports? ...because i have to take a flight there 15:30pm
can I buy/pay it when I a...arrive in NY...or is it better to do my reservation now from here?
thanks

You may want to think about changing your itinerary. State Shuttle (at Ground Transportation/Welcome Center) has service between JFK and EWR for about $30 however the trip takes at least 1 to 1.5 hours and you will need to clear customs/immigration on arrival at JFK which can take 45 minutes to 1 hour. Given these time frames I don't think you will get to EWR in time for a 1530 departure.

I want to know if there is a shuttle from newark airport to jfk airport. How much does it cost? how long does it takes? what is the best away to get there. I'm gonna to arrive at newark in january 1st in the morning. And I need to go to boston at the same day.

We are 4 people with 4 medium size suitcases and some hand luggage arriving at JFK Airport next Sunday. We would like to go to Long Island City (37-18 Queens Boulevard) and we want to know what would be the options to get there and the cheapest way (total fare) for us.
We appreciate your attention in advance

Four of you should share a taxi, fare is about $50, and will take you direct to your destination.
