Price list (as of May 1st,2010) for baggage storage only at the facilities at Terminal 1 and Terminal 4.
The prices are per bag, per 24 hours:
Up to 20" - $4

27" - 32" - $11
Other(non standard bags, skis etc) - $16

Luggage storage or airlines early check-in?
Hi, I will be transiting at new york's JFK airport and I'm thinking of stoping over for 1-2 nights.I wonder if I could store my luggage in the terminal so that I can move around easily with the metro system? Or is there any domestic airlines that would allow early check in of luggage (around 40-50 hours earlier)? BTW, is JFK airport connected with the metro to downtown NYC? Anyone could help? Thanks!

The most time allowed for advanced check-in is by Delta - 24 hours. You can store the bags in one of the facilities at T4,T1,T8 or T3, area B.
From JFK you can take Airtrain($5) to one of the subway stations. From there , you can take subway to downtown Manhattan.

i'm flying out of jfk tomorrow (saturday 2 oct) on american airlines to miami and returning on tuesday evening on american airlines again. i have a flight to take to london soon after on tuesday itself on british airways. i need to leave a suitcase at the airport for the 3 days from saturday to tuesday. can you advise which terminal would be most convenient to leave my bag?

Hi I would like to kown how can I let two Baggage size 32" each one, storaged at the JFK AirPort from Nov 14 at 400pm to nov 17 at 100pm? I dont know wich terminal it ll be but I will fly to las vegas with delta companie. So I want to know how can I do it and how much gonna cost for me?thank s for your time, Vanessa Garuli
You can store them at T4
You can store them at T4 luggage storage - it wil cost you aprox 3daysx$11=$33 for one bag.

Since you are arriving at T8 - see if the facility at T8 will suit you regard their working hours.

Hello,
I will be arriving to JFK on terminal 8 by AA at 8:00 am and the departure time for the air india flight to Mumbai is 9:30 pm from terminal 4.(I hope this will be the most convinient storage for me?)
Please guide me. If I keep my bags at terminal 4 storage, how can I go there from terminal 8 and how much time it will take.
Also after I collect my bags while leaving, how can I go to the terminal 4 departure.

Yes, terminal 4 facility will be the one which is most convenient for you.
At T8, go to the second floor and follow the signs to the Airtrain Station. There , take Airtrain on track 2 and get off at T4(which is three stops away). At T4 , go to the first floor and look for Hotel reservation counter - the luggage storage is right next to it.
When leaving , collect your bags from the luggage storage and then take the elevator to the 4th floor - there, look for Air India check-in counters.

Not aware of such a service.
Terminal 3, area B is the best luggage facility to use in your case.

Baggage storage for 8 hours
Hello,
I'm flying in from SFO on a redeye flight. I have an 8-hour layover before my flight to Paris and want to leave my luggage somewhere in JFK that's relatively cheap (since I'm leaving it there for only 8 hours). Are there any options that charge less than the 24 hour rate? About how much would that be?

Which airline are you flying with to Paris?
If it is Delta or American - they will let you check the bags way in advance(Delta-24hours, AA - for the day).
If not - all the luggage storage facilities at JFK will charge you minimum day price for storing the bags for 8 hours.

Hourly rate for luggage storage?
We only need to store our luggage for 5-6 hours in T4. Is there an hourly rate? Or we have to pay full day rate? We have mid-size luggage, how much is it? Thank you.
