Price list (as of May 1st,2010) for baggage storage only at the facilities at Terminal 1 and Terminal 4.
The prices are per bag, per 24 hours:
Up to 20" - $4
21" - 24" - $6
25" - 26" - $8
27" - 32" - $11
Other(non standard bags, skis etc) - $16

I am arriving Sept. 14th from SLC, my next flight to MXP is not until the 15th. Do you think I should check my baggage or store it at a storage facility?
lockers and security
Hi,
I'm going to fly from JFK to Istanbul with Delta Airlines on 6th of Oct and I need to store my luggages in a safe place from 4th of Oct till the date I'll fly. But I'm worried about the security of this storage located in the airport. Should I take my own locker with me to use? As I'm going to store my luggage for more than a day, I guess I need to use Terminal 4 although Delta Airlines may be located in another terminal within the airport. And should I reserve one place in the storage beforehand?

You can use the storage at T4. Unfortunately none of the storages at JFK uses lockers.

Hello,
I am flying from MIA to JFK by American Airlines early in the morning around 9 am to Terminal 8 and afterwards I am flying from JFK to Istanbul by Turkish Airlines in the afternoon around 5 pm. I want to store my baggage during that time, which storage is the closest one to use and do you know if Turkish Airlines accept early check-in? Thank you very much

Since Turkish Airlines is located at T1 it is convenient to use the storage at T1.
Turkush Airlines usually opens up their counters 3-3.5 hours prior to departure time.

There is Post office at JFK, but is not located at the terminals.
There is also parcel service at T1, first floor - you can use that one for shipping.

How safe is baggage storage at JFK's Delta Termina 3?
I am worried after reading posts about theft, can anyone tell me if their luggage was safe there? My luggage is locked but..some people mention locks being broken or picked. Is this a safe place to store?

Storage for my bike
I need to store my bike (in a box) for 7 days at the airport. I fly from NY to London in American and then come back to NY and fly to Santiago Chile in Lan Chile. Do you have space? How much is it per day? At what terminal do you recommend to store it? Thank you!

Yes, you can store the bike. Most likely it will cost you $16/day. The most convenient place will be the storage at T4.
