Leaving JFK on transit to Colombia
Hi. i am travelling with a friend to Colombia but will land in Newark and then get transffered to JFK. We will be in JFK for approximately 5 hours and would like to leave the airport and return prior to catching our connecting flight. Is this possible?

It will take you at least an hour to get back to Manhattan from JFK. There is nothing worth seeing around the airport. If you can, have them drop you off in Manhattan on the way from EWR to JFK or just forget about the transfer and take the train from EWR to Manhattan. Hope this helps... Have fun! Dieter, Queens, NY

The best way to get in touch with him is calling. There is no way of knowing if he got to JFK fine if you don't know his flight info. Also, if something dangerous did happen to him, you would probably have been informed by now. Hope your boyfriend's having a good time!!!

My daughter has been on an airplane for over two hours just sitting awaiting take off. She has a 2 1/2 yr. old boy with her, my grandchild. He is going to get restless any second now and end up stressing his mom and all around him. Surly they can do something.
flight cancellation question
We were travelling on jet blue through jfk, and TWO flights were cancelled,one of them "pre-emptively". We had to get where we were going, and had a deadline, so we took another airline on our outbound trip.Now, for our return, yet another jetblue flight has been cancelled "pre-emptively". All of this is supposed to be weather-related (meaning of course that the airline is not obligated to us). How do I find out 1)information about the number of cancellations at jfk on April 3 and April 6, and 2)what the weather was actually like on April 3? Many thanks.
