Halo,I found that in airport is room, where I could leave my baggage. How much does it cost? And there is any time limiting? Thank You

Terminal 4 Arrivals (Hotel reservation) is the only place where bags are stored. Pricing, and times can be obtained by contacting them directly.

Can you get to National Car Rentals from Terminal 4 by using the Skytrain or do you have to take a courtesey bus? Thanks.

AirTrain to Federal Circle - All car rentals are located their. No need to take the bus.

Hi
I am a student of New York Film Academy.

Each of the student have to make Final Project wich will be the last and the most important work for the graduation of NYFA .
In my Final project, There will be a scene about a man who is waiting on his girlfriend at the airport..

Is it possible filmming at the airport?
There will just 5~6person as a crew

If it's possible how can I get a permission?

Hey Chris,

I am a student of the NYFA as well and I'm having the same predicament! I have tried the route that was advised on the response to you, nevertheless it is a nightmare!!

Then I happend to run into your question in a google search and would like to contact you being that you know the exact process already!

Could you please contact me at emilio_conde@live.com and help a fellow classmate on guiding me in the process with some pointers and a clearer estimated budget for a similar proyect?

That would be very complicated my friend. You would have to contact the terminal individually - as for American, United, Jetblue and Others who have their own terminal you must speak to them directly.

Terminal 1 and 4 are managed by another company - So filming or anything you would have contact their management team for approval of filming and entrance.

You also need a filming Permit from the City of New York.

Last Sunday my family and I were heading back home after an excellent vacation week in NYC. We took an international flight from Terminal 1 at JFK. Unfortunately had to check in our bags. When finally arrived at home, we were surprised to find out that two items were stolen from our luggage, a cell phone and a new video game CD. It is sad to know that this things are still happening particularly in the US and specially in NY. Airport security should be more carfeful to watch over its employees when handling passangers belongings. More than 5,000 miles away it is quite difficult and frustating not to be able to receive appropiate help. International travelers found ourselves helpless in this pitty situation. Be careful next time you have to check in at JFK Terminal 1.

who do you think stole your items ? only "security" have time and access to our bags.

"Security" hmm yes and no if you checked the item as Baggage then Ramp employees have access as well. Was your bag locked or open?

My suggestion is to contact the airline and show proof that you had these items - Because this is unacceptable.

People, this is a no-brainer. You can't leave valuable items in your luggage. Whoever asked if this luggage was locked has obviously not traveled in a while - you are no longer allowed to lock your luggage. People are going to rifle through your stuff, that's for our "protection". It's a post-9/11 world and personally I'd rather your cell phone and CD were stolen than for explosives to make it onto the plane. Don't stow any electronics or jewelry. Common sense, people.

My sis arrives at Terminal 1 at JFK at about 7pm and her next flight is from Terminal 6 at 8am next day. Is there any place to sleep at JFK preferably at Terminal 6?

If she arrives at 7pm why not contact the airline to see if she can leave the same day. Just depends on flight avaliability or maybe standby.

Terminal 6 wouldn't be my selection for overnight since everything closes. My suggestion would be Terminal 4, it is an international terminal and the flights are always leaving - atleast when she waks up middile of the night she can grab some coffee or water etc...

Good luck

I was in the JFK Airport last month and noticed a special kind of vending machine: iPod, digital cameras and other high-end gadgets available for sale in a vending machine. Credit card or cash payments were accepted. Does anyone know who manufactures these machines? I've been searching all over the internet and haven't found anything like it. I would love to know anything about them.
