My Friend is flying on the
My Friend is flying on the Korean Flight from JFK at 12.40 to seoul then connecting to sydney,Now his flight has been delayed by 2 hours which means he will miss his connecting flight to sydney but it still shows as it is scheduled ,Now i have just read that the airport will re-open at 4pm???, how can we clarify this? how do i kno if he is going to actually leave today if his flight says its ok to depart at 2.40pm but people are saying it wont open till 4pm.. im so confused.HELP!
I just called Korean Airlines counter at JFK
They said it wont be 2 hrs delay since the airport is closed. They are not clear when it will be able to fly as the plane has to come in the airport for passrngers to ride it. They will be getting some info about this by noon so i will post it here when i get any update at noon. I am more concerned as to how to get to the airport, my huge&heavy baggages does not allow me to take metro so i should get the bus but it seems so dangerous! i am concerned..

My mom is travelling on flight 720 from Nassau Bahamas to JFK and the flight has been delayed and will narrive at 3:01pm! iF THE AIRPORTS ARE GOING TO BE OPENED AT 4PM THEN WHY DID IT SAY SHE WILL BE ARRIVING AT 3:01?

Airport is closed but JFK site shows south African airways flight 204 scheduled for dep @ 10:40 am is still showing ok. Anyone know about this flight. I'm at least 2 hours from airport.

I have the same flight, and SAA has no one available to tell me if the flights cancelled. Travelocity connects me to SAA and the only info I get is a recording from yesterday saying my flights on schedule. What the heck do I do?

So my flight is on Monday 9am, the airport is not going to reopen until noon, but my flight is still not canceled. What am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to get to the airport in this blizzard?

FYI: Airport is closed until 4PM 12/27/10. I had the same issue last night when the Airline operator said flight was confirmed and scheduled to leave @ 10:35PM, How is it possible with airport being closed, had to basically tell them they were idiots and after fighting for an hour, they finally realized i was correct and finally told me flight was cancelled. So I LUCKILY sit at home waiting with my infant daughter instead of waiting at the airport like an idiot. Moral of the story, airline operators and their supervisors are idiots. Thank you and hopefully we'll all be in the air safely very soon. Happy Holidays to all...
