Dublin to JFK to SFO
Hi Guys,
My friend is en route to San Francisco via JFK from Dublin with Delta Airlines.
The Flight from Dublin has been delayed by 3 hours and is now due in JFK at 4pm, Gate B20 (Terminal 4?).
The connecting Delta flight to San Francisco is at Gate 22 (I am guessing Terminal 2) and it is due to leave at 7.15pm.
I assume there is enough time for the layover, but how would one go about it? Will have to collect baggage, recheck the baggage / security?, getting to the Terminal?

*Edit* The Gate has changed to Gate 8 (again assuming, this is Terminal 3?)
Judging by previous comments, changeover between Terminal 3 and Terminal 2 should be simple as they are connected?
The same question still stands regarding having to collect luggage, recheck luggage / go through security again.

i will arrive from israel ly flight at 01/12/2011 at 3:20 pm. i have connection 3 hr later in terminal 8 to cancun with AA at 6:15 pm.
do i have enough time to get out from terminal 4 meet a friend out side terminal 4 and go back to the connection flight at terminal 8?

We had exactly the same problem, went to jfk and spoke to virgin staff who gave us a number to call to rebook. Called until 5am this morning and booked flight out for wed from Newark-earliest they had! Number for virgin from the USA is 1 800862 8621. Just keeping everything crossed for wed's flight!!good luck!
Checkin with Delay?
Our daughter is supposed to fly out with LH405 which is supposed to leave 4 hourds later than scheduled. Can she can later to JFK or does she have to checkin as normal?

i am flying from US(charlotte) to india on 30 dec,2010 through New york.My connecting flight is air india from JFK airport.I want to know that my flight from charlotte will arrive at which terminal,and for air india flight i hve to go to which terminal,also how should i go to the desired terminal.One more thing,i will check in my luggage at CLT first so do i need to check in my luggage again at JFK.

The Virgin website is saying flights from JFK to Heathrow are cancelled today but flight tracker iphone app saying they are still on - which is correct?

lost passport
A pleasant good day, i arrived to the us from Jamaica on the 4th of December at noon, upon leaving the JFK airport, i accidentally left my British passport on one of the rented carts due the rush, i want to know, where do i go or who do i call for information,this is the only form of identification i have currently, without it, i have no identity please understand my plee and help me in anyway you can, thank you
Connecting Flight - domestic to international
I'm flying in from ROC to JFK arriving at 8:10PM, and I have an international China Airlines flight that departs at 9:55PM. I also have a big luggage that I will need to check-in. I was wondering whether or not I will have time to get my baggage from baggage claim and check-in in time. Is there baggage claim at the terminal? or do I have to take the tran back and forth? Is there possibility that I can pay extra for delta to send my baggage to china airlines so I won't be late for my flight?

Double check with Delta in ROC but they should be able to check your bags through so you don't have to deal with them at JFK.You do NOT need to pay Delta extra for that.
