Traveling concerns
I will be arr JFK from DCA on Delta and am a bit concerned with my connecting flight (location and time to get to it). My itinerary shows me arr at 12:15pm and departing for Tokyo Narita at 1:10pm. Will my checked luggage be transferred to my Narita flight or do I need to claim and recheck? Also, is 55mins enough time to get from whichever terminal I land at to, I'm guessing, terminal 4 for my dep flight. I see many answers in here from JFK employees that tell the traveler they have to cross a street and board a train. My idea of a street would be outside of the airport so I'm just a bit confused as to what they mean by "street".

Dutch airspace closed
Schiphol airport cancelled all flights untill atleast 14:00/2:00 PM May 17. Intercontinental flights to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol will be rerouted to other big European airports. The UK decided to slowly start flying again at 08:00/8:00 AM this morning. Airports there still suffer from heavy delays.
The ash cloud above the Netherlands and the UK is much denser and thicker than the one last month.
Please contact your airline before going to the airport.

From JFK to Manhattan
When you exit the terminal, look for the nearest taxi stand (our taxis are yellow and easily visible). The line is usually across the street from where you exit the building.

Hi, My aunt was supposed to leave today from JFK airport to Amman - Jordan, but the flight was delayed and she got lost in the airport with her 2 kids.
she was supposed to get on RJ flight at 11 NY time to arrive in Amman on 16 may at 5:15.

i'm wondering how to get to National Car rental when taking the airtrain.
I'm coming from manhattan, so i take the subway to jamaica to get on the airtrain.
But where do i get off to get to the National Car rental office to pick up my car ?

my flight from jfk to washington dulles by dl6691 on 17 may is shown as departing from gate 25p. iam unable to locate gate 25p in terminal 3 but there is a gate 25 in ter 2.this delta flight is operated by Comair. please advise

wondered if any one could help me. My family and I are traveling from the UK with Delta airlines in August. We are then flying to L.A.X. We have a two and a half hour slot between landing and taking off again. Will this be enough time for 7 of us to leave the plane, clear customs, collect our luggage and then check in to the next flight? (which is also with Delta)
