Time needed between LGA & JFK (when JFK flight is international)
Hi there, I'm flying into to LGA at 6pm. Then I have a connecting flight at JFK at 9:25pm going to FRA. (sneaky website, didn't point out that the flight booked was between 2 NY airports ) Anyway, I was told I need to be at the airport 2-3 hours for the JFK-FRA flight as it's International. Is that correct? Also, how long will it take to get from LGA-JFK by public transport, any suggestions? THANKS!!!

Hello, i will be flying to Casablanca on 13th may from jfk through royal air maroc,is there any hope because i learnt that Casablanca airspace have been closed down due to volcanic ash, i need to know ahead bcos i will be coming from Elizabeth city NC through Norfolk by Delta, flight which is already confirmed.

As of 10.30 CET on 11 May 2010, EUROCONTROL has the following update to make with regard to the situation of air traffic in Europe:
Today EUROCONTROL expects approximately 29,000 flights within the European area which is close to normal for a Tuesday at this time of year.
Areas of high ash concentration are this morning impacting southern and central Spain and Portugal including the Canary Islands and Madeira. The areas of high ash concentration on high altitudes in the middle of the North Atlantic is dispersing, easing the previously difficult situation for Trans Atlantic flights.
At the current time airports on the Canary Islands, some in south-west Spain and some in Morocco are closed. According to the forecasts, during the afternoon, areas of higher ash concentration could move in a north-easterly direction cutting across the Iberian Iberian Peninsula and into south east France. These areas are of high altitude and are not expected to impact airports. The latest ‘Air Ash Concentration Charts’, valid at 14.00CET describing those areas where no-fly zone proposals have been made to the EUROCONTROL Member States are attached.
On Monday 10 May, there were 29,155 flights within the EUROCONTROL CFMU area, which is not far from normal traffic levels.
At the same time, ongoing work by the UK Met Office and the UK CAA has confirmed the effectiveness of the model used to determine the areas where ash concentration could be above engine tolerance levels. For that reason, as from noon today, the 60 nautical mile ‘Buffer Zone’ which was initially added to the proposed no-fly zone will be omitted. Work will continue between aircraft operators, Service Providers, the London Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre to refine the model used for predicting ash dispersion.

Enough time to connect flight
Am flying from Dublin to JFK with Aer Lingus and then connecting flight with Jet Blue to Fort Lauderdale.
Is 2 hours 15 mins enough time between flights?
On Return flight ,is 1 hour 55 mins enough time to connect flights ?

Getting a dog through the airport
My family and I will shortly be flying from Hong Kong to JFK on Cathay with our 4 yr old German Shepherd dog. Are there any thoughts on how best to get through the airport and to Avis to pick up our rental SUV. A friend mentioned something about an airport porter??? Thank you!

Hi, my cousins were coming in from Poland and their expected arrival time was at 7:40 pm. Unfortunately i do not have any of the flight info (i.e. what airport they were coming from or the flight number). Is there anyway you could verify that this flight was on time just by the expected arrival time? I appreciate your time and efforts, have a good night.
Long Term Parking
Hello All,
I live in Jersey and will be flying Air Jamaica out of JFK in June and plan to park my car in the lot for the four days I will be away (Thursday - Sunday). I'm thinking this would be cheaper and more convenient than getting car service. Has anyone used long term parking? Is it expensive?

our flight goes from New York to Frankfurt via London. ( British Airways BA 112 and BA 902, 6.20 pm today) and I'd like to know if there's a problem because of the ash cloude. I tried to contact British Airways, but they only let me talk to a machine, which couldn't help me. Is there a possibility to speak to someone?
