Whats the cheapest/easiest way to get from JFK airport to Baltimore without flying? Am considering bus, but i wonder about the time it would take to get to the bus stations in question, or if there's any corresponding transport to where buses to Baltimore depart from.

You can either take bus(as cheap as $18) or train($95) to Baltimore. For either transportation you have to go to PA Bus terminal(for bus) or Penn Station(for train) in Manhattan.
Check out those websites for details:
http://www.amtrak.com
http://www.greyhound.com
Also you can check out the alternate buses in the beginning of this web page.

Is it possible to carry all the laugage when using the NY Airport express service bus? Does it go in the lauggage compartment or you have it by your side on the bus?

What is the cost of New York Airport Service (NYAS)? Can you carry your lauggage as well?

Thanks,

The big luggage goes underneath , in the baggage compartments. You can carry the small bags with you in the bus. It costs (from JFK to the city) $15/passenger.

I will reach JFK (Terminal 4) on 5/12/2010. I have to reach PA (Montgomery / Horsham). Please suggest.

pls i am coming ,we are 3 adults from Egypt at 18-7-2010 at JFK airport
How can i go to Virginia by bus and how much does it cost to go there and is a yellow cab cheaper pls help and we have luggage

Definitely the bus is cheaper than a taxi.
For you to take a bus you have to go to Port Authority Bus terminal in Manhattan and take Greyhound bus to Virginia(or check out the alternative buses in the beginning of this web page).
Here is how to get to PA bus terminal:
1. Taxi(~40minutes)
Yellow cab (from JFK to any point to Manhattan) costs flat rate of $45 + bridge toll($5.50). The price is for the whole taxi, not per passenger.
2. Public(~1hr-1:15hrs)
Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then take subway line E to 42nd street stop. Cost-$7.25/passenger.

3. Express Bus(50min-1hr.)
NYAS(New York Airport Service) bus will take you express to Times Square for $15/passenger. The bus leaves every 20 min in front of each JFK terminal. You can buy tickets on the bus or from their representative in front of the terminal.

Dear Team,

I have to book a Grey Hound ticket from Cleveland to JFK. My international flight is on 28th May (5pm) from JFK. The bus arrives in NY at around 10am.

1) Which is the closest Gray Hound Station to the JFK?

2) How do we get to JFK from the station?

3) Is there facility at the airport to take a shower and be ready for the day?

Thanks,

VG

1.) The closest bus station is Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan(near Times Square).
2.)
- Taxi - flat $50.50,~45 min.
- Bus - NYAS(express),$15/person,1 hr.
- subway E(direction Jamaica,Queens) to Sutphin Blvd. stop + Airtrain , $7.25/person, 1:15 min.
3.) There is a lounge at Terminal 4,4th floor(by name Oasis) that offers shower for $35.

Hello, I arrive at JFK from Nice at about 2 p.m. on Monday 24 May ... and I need to get to Mendham NJ ... any advice?

There's no NJ Transit train or bus service to Mendham so Morristown would be your closest destination. You can take the bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal or train from Penn Station. Both are reached from JFK by NYAS bus ($15) or Aitrain>Jamaica station>E subway>42nd St./Port Authority ($7.25). You can also take the LIRR (faster than subway) from Jamaica station to Penn Station ($13). Check the NJ Transit site for bus/train schedules. Note: some NJ Transit buses/trains may require a transfer along the way.

Hi JFK Airport Team!

We arrive on 03.June2010 at 4pm in JFK and we have to go to Hotel Holiday Inn Hasbrouck Hights in New Jersey.
What is the cheapest and shortest way and transportation to get there???
Thank you in advance.

The hotel is adjacent to Teterboro airport.
Taxi will cost you $100-$120.
Cheapest way to go there is to take public.
Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going two different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then either:
-take subway line E to Penn Station(total fare - $7.25;~1 hour) or
-take LIRR train to Penn Station(faster;total fare ~ $12, less on the weekends; 35-45 min.)
From there take NJ transit train to Teterboro(with transfer at Secaucus Junction).Cost- $6.25;30 min travel time.
From the train station you can get a local taxi to the hotel. It should not be more than $10.

I have guests arriving on Sun Country in terminal 4 and they have to meet a group at Delta baggage in terminal 3.

Can you tell me exactly how they get to terminal 3 from 4 and to baggage claim.

Thank you!

I am assuming the group arrives on Delta domestic.
Airtrain station at T4 is located on the third floor. Any train on track 2 will take you to T3 - it is just one stop. Once there, cross over to the building and go to the first floor - that is where Delta domestic baggage is.
