Taxi will cost you $$$(200 may be more?).
Public transport is another way to go there:
Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going two different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then take subway line E to 42nd street stop. From PA bus terminal take NJ transit bus to Toms River(~$20). There is NJ transit bus to Seaside Heights, but it is seasonal, it may run at the time you arrive- double check at PA bus terminal.
In case you end up at Toms River, take a taxi or a shuttle to Seaside Heights.

Hi, I'm arriving at JFK on 15th May, 2010 (at midnight!). My hotel is in New Jersey. What would you suggest?

Taxi - it would be on the meter. Let us know which hotel is exactly for public transport directions.

hi,
i will arrive on a saturday at jfk (11:30 am) and would like to go to "#75 East 3rd Street" in manhattan by public transportation, what would the best way be and how much would it cost me as a student? (isic available)
thanks for your help! all the best

Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then take subway line E to Roosevelt Ave stop and transfer to line F (going towards Manhattan). Get off at 2nd Ave street stop(cost-$7.25).
Walk north on 2nd Ave three blocks and make left on E3rd street - your address is half block away.
There is no discount for international students.

Hello. I arrive in Detroit New York City. What variables exist and prices, bus or train? Thanks in advance.

How much it will cost me to go to Crown Plaza at 49th street, New York from JFK by bus. We are 2 peoples and would like to know if it is better to go by taxi or by bus. Which one will be cheaper.

It is $18.50 per person on the shuttle and $50.50 for a taxi. Shuttle will be cheaper.

Hi, I'm arriving at Terminal 7 tomorrow 4pm. My hotel is at 161 Lexington Ave in the city. What would you suggest? Are those options also good for returning to JFK next Thursday afternoon? Thank you very much in advance.

1.Yellow cab (from JFK to any point to Manhattan) costs flat fare of $45 + bridge toll($5.50)
2. Shuttle
There is shuttle(look for it at Ground transportation counter or Welcome Center) that goes to the hotel for $18.50 per person.
3.Public Transportation
Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then take subway line E to Lexington Ave stop and transfer to subway line 6 going towards downtown. Get off at 28th street stop.Cost-$7.25.
Walk two blocks north on Park Ave and make right on E30 street. The hotel is 1 block away right after you pass the intersection with Lexington Ave.

All these options are also good for your way back.
