within two hours of the time you pay your full fare with the same
MetroCard. If you pay your local bus fare with coins, ask for a
free magnetic-strip transfer to use on another local bus.
Reduced-Fare Benefits
You are eligible for reduced-fare
benefits if you are at least 65 years of age or have a qualifying
disability. Benefits are available (except on peak-hour express
buses) with proper identification, including Reduced-Fare
MetroCard or Medicare card (Medicaid cards do not qualify).

Bus or train from Washington DC - JFK airport,NY
How do I reach JFK airport terminal 4 from Washington DC. Is there a direct bus or train service available ? If yes, then which one ? And how long does it take to reach the airport ?
Nothing direct however you
Nothing direct however you can take most bus lines from the bus depot near Union Station-DC to NY-Penn Station (see the bus listings on this page), or Amtrak train to Penn Station. From Penn Station to JFK, take either the NYAS express bus, LIRR to Jamaica or E subway to Sutphin Blvd/JFK and Airtrain to T4. Train from DC is 3.5 hours (regular NE Corridor service) and 45 minutes to one hour+ by LIRR or subway. Bus is about 5 hours (or more depending on traffic) to NY.

By bus, Megabus and Boltbus depart from near Penn Station, Greyhound from Port Authority Bus Terminal. By train, Amtrak departs from Penn Station. Both are reachable by NYAS express bus or Airtrain/E subway.

Hi I was wondering what is the best/easiest way to get from JFK to Hoboken train station? Is there a shuttle or bus that goes that way?
You can take any NJ Transit
You can take any NJ Transit train from Penn Station to Secaucus Junction station and transfer to either the Main/Bergen Line train or Pascack Valley Line train to Hoboken which is the next and last stop, fare is $5. You can get to Penn Station by taxi ($45+tolls+tip), NYAS express bus ($15) or Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station and then E subway ($7.25) or LIRR ($13) to Penn Station.

Please see the bus info on this page. There are four bus companies with service to Washington, DC which depart from the Penn Station area. You can reach Penn Station by NYAS bus which departs from each terminal every 20-30 minutes ($15) or by public transportation (subway or LIRR); take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station and transfer to either E subway ($7.25) or LIRR ($13, faster than subway) to Penn Station. Travel time from JFK to Penn Station is 45 minutes/1 hour and travel time from Penn Station to DC is about 5 hours.

Ich habe folgendes Problem. Mein Flug kommt von der Schweiz um 17.30 am JFK an, nun wollte ich fragen, ob es einen schnellstmöglichen Bus nach Washington Dulles gibt welcher noch vor 06.00 dort am Flughafen ist?
