JFK Airport Parking Information
You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

Just follow the signs in T5
Just follow the signs in T5 to AirTrain and take the train on track 1 marked Howard Beach Station as that train will stop at Lefferts Blvd. station near LT parking.

I need to park for 2 days and want to do short term parking. My flight leaves the jet blue terminal but arrives at the international terminal 4. where is the best place to short term park my car
Park in the yellow short
Park in the yellow short term lot for Jet Blue T5 and on return take AirTrain on track 1 from T4 to T5.
long term parking
I am debating whether to parking in long term parking or parking terminal 8 for 4 days. Can anyone help me which is better and how long does it take to get to teminal 8 from lon term parking.

Long term parking lot would
Long term parking lot would be the best choice in your case. The trip from Long Term to Terminal 8 is about 15 to 20 minutes.

The AirTrain station at
The AirTrain station at Lefferts Blvd. is easy walking distance from long term parking. AirTrain to terminals takes about 10 minutes.
LTP at JFK - reservation?
I am flying to FLA on Saturday and want to leave my vehicle in LTP. Do I need to call in advance to reserve a spot in LTP? How exactly does that work? Also once we park do we take a bus or train from this location to the airport terminal? Thank you.
No reservations necessary,
No reservations necessary, there are usually plenty of parking spots. After you park walk to the Lefferts Blvd. AirTrain station and take it to all terminals. On your return be sure you take the Howard Beach Station AirTrain from your terminal on track 1.
Taking flight from Virgin
Taking flight from Virgin America. Would like to leave car at LTP. Is it difficult to get a spot? Also which Air Tran or shuttle do I take to get from LTP to Virgin America, and on return flight where do I get the shuttle back to LTP, from V. America?
Not at all. Take any airport
Not at all. Take any airport bound airtrain from LTP and get off at T4 for VA. On your way back take Howard Beach bound airtrain from the third floor of T4, on track 1.

Baggage Wrap
Could anyone advise if there is a baggage wrapping machine, in Terminal 7 of JFK
