Sun helped clear snow off cars yesterday. I was parked for ten days at lefferts lot and retrieved my car 12-29 evening. Lanes were all clear. Some snow against the back of cars but easily removed.

retrieved my car from the long term lot on 12/29 evening. Sun had melted the snow off the cars and there was a small amount behind the cars which I fairly easily removed. A small shovel, broom will help but it was not the nightmare I had envisioned. Lots are open and lanes are clear and easily accessible. Frankly, parking lots looked a lot better than the runways.

Are cars in long-term and/or crew parking snowed in at JFK?

is there any spaces left in long term parking not occupied by snow or cars. im leaving 12/30 around noon...thanks

Heading in tomorrow am - hoping to park in ST terminal 5. Does anyone know if there is a parking problem? Thanks.

I have a flight out from JFK tomorrow (weds) morning. Wondering if there is long term parking available or if it is covered in snow? I'd be arriving at about 6am. Thanks.

Im a mom parked in long term arriving with my three kids at 9 pm Wednesday night. We don't have winter coats and I didnt count on snow. Anyone have an update on the parking lots and cars covered with snow?

Hi,
I've been parked in long term parking for the past week + and will be coming back home to JFK the morning of the 30th. Will I be able to get to my car? Are all the parked cars snowed in? Do we need to shovel? are there shovels around to dig out if neccesary? what is the situation in the lot. Does anyone know just what the situation is like in lot A at Leffters?

Good luck getting out. The morons plowed every car in. I've never seen such stupidity. It took me an hour to get out by bashing the snow with my car. A plow came by and looked at me but never offered any help. Bring a shovel or some dynamite. A message to the idiot plow operators - I can only hope that some day soon, someone treats you mothers with the same lack of respect you gave the long term parkers.

Thank you for you information, it is very helpful to know what we are walking into when we return to the car. My only follow up question is to clarify the extent of the burden before us- How high are the piles of snow blocking the cars into the parking space? It could be helpful in choosing the implement I bring.

I was told that the long-term parking lots at JFK are all full due to the snow storm. The person I spoke to said that they would try to honor prebooked reservations. I'd advise everyone to check before driving to the airport.

Who did you speak to? Who should I call? Thanks!

Sorry for another of the same question, but has the closure effected the availability of parking in the long term parking lot? I will need to park there on Wednesday this week and am hoping there is room.

Hello all- sorry to those already stuck in the airport.
My mother is supposed to fly out tomorrow morning at 7am. delta has had the flight cancelled since I checked this am.
Does anyone know if they are cancelling all flights until the airport is re-opened? I find it hard to believe a flight for tomorrow with clear weather is cancelled today with the airport supposedly opening at 6pm.
Anyone have any thoughts? Greatly appreciated

We have a flight tomorrow at 8:55am at Terminal 5, and would like to park our car in the long-term parking lot since there's no car service available due to the weather. Anyone know that there will be parkings available there for tomorrow?

Please advice! Thank you!
