I'm arriving at JFK from London on American airlines and have a connecting flight to Orlando also american airlines the next morning. My ticket was booked all at once. Can I leave the airport and stay in hotel for night or do I have to stay at airport. Thank you

i have bought a flight from london to peru with stopover at JFK airport. the flight from london to jfk is with AA and then afterwards with there parent company LAN airlines. do i need to recheck my baggage at JFK and i have to pass immigration (check passports).
and is 3 hours enough time ??

Hi,
My plane will arrive from Finland to Terminal 8 and the connecting flight to Las Vegas (AA) will leave the same terminal. Finnair flight will land 3:55 and the connecting flight will leave 5:20. The both flights are on the same ticket (sold by Finnair) so this gives me extra securiy if I don't make it. In that case AA has responsibility to check me in to next possible flight.
Question: can I make it? (most propably I will only carry hand luggage with me).

I am flying from Port Au
I am flying from Port Au Prince, Haiti to Helsinki, Finland. I have changeovers in Miami and in New York at JFK. I fly into JFK, terminal 8, on American Airlines and will depart on Finnair also from terminal 8. If I do not leave terminal 8 do I still need to go through customs? I have only 45-50 minutes between flights. Help please.
Miami is your first US port
Miami is your first US port of entry so you will clear US customs on arrival there. If your bags are checked through to Helsinki and you have that flight's boarding pass, when you arrive at JFK just walk from arrival gate to Helsinki departure gate.
changing planes at jfk
1. I want to get from Europe to San Jose, Costa rica over JFK. Both flights are with American Airlines and would be booked together. Is 2 h 55 min engouh time to change flights?
2. On the way back i would just have 2 h. Is this time enough?
3. Do i have to check in the baggage again if i am changing planes at JFK?
4. Does AA at JFK just uses Terminal 8?

Coming from Egypt going to washington 1st carrier is Egypt air from Cairo to JFK arrive time is 15:15 connecting flight is AA leaving @16:55. Is this enough time and do I have to recheck again in AA with my luggage. Thank u.

My sister, a British citizen, will have a 10 hour stop over w/ American Airlines at Terminal 8 JFK. Could she leave the terminal to visit me & what will she need to be able to regain entry to the terminal to take her connecting flight?
