Train or bus from JFK to Newark
Hi, we are reaching JFK on the 9th Oct & we need to go to NEWARK . What is the cheapest & the best way to get there . I am coming for the frist time to JFK & i am travelling with a 3 year old child.
JFK
Ok, to get to Newark, you would want to take Airtrain to Howard Beach, transfer there for the A going into Manhattan, get of at Broadway-Nassau Street in Manhattan, make sure you actually follow the exit signs to Fulton Street and make a left on Fulton, walk past Nassau and Broadway, and you will come to Ground Zero(unfortuantely).
Then take the PATH to Newark Penn Station
HOPE THAT HELPS
JFK to Newark
Take the air-train to Jamaica station and then take the Long Island RR to Penn Station. At Penn station you can get a NJ Transit train directly to Newark Liberty Station instead of Newark Penn. Newark Liberty Station is at Newark Airport and connects directly with the Airtrain. With a small child and baggage you will be much more comfortable on the trains rather than the subway. The cost is about the same.
to newark
Hey! From JFK, take the JFK AirTrain ($5) to Jamaica or Archer Avenue subway stop, where you pick up the E Train ($2) to Manhattan. This runs express. Follow the E all the way to the last stop, at World Trade Center. There, take the PATH ($1.50) to Newark Penn, no transfers. If going to the Newark Airport, take the first NJ Transit commuter train to Newark Airport Stop ($7) and then Newark AirTrain ($5) into the airport. Total trip is $20.50 and between 90-120 minutes depending on transfers. For about $15 more, you can cut the trip time in half by bypassing the NYC Subway and PATH, and instead taking the LIRR from Jamaica stop to NY Penn Station, and the NJ Transit commuter train from NY Penn Station to Newark Airport stop.
Arriving on terminal 4 then need to catch a Comair
With two suitcases on a baggage trolly what is the best way to go from terminal 4 Emirates Airline arrival to Comair Terminal 3 departure, and approximately how long will it take?
Thanks
