T5
I've been getting mixed signals. Is Terminal 5 now closed? I'm coming in on Jet Blue 714 from San Juan 10/20/10.
Airport lounges
Hi. I am arriving from Las Vegas on Jet Blue at terminal 5 at 6:53pm and leaving on Jet Blue for portland me at 10:35pm. Is there a priority pass lounge close enough to access while I wait?
terminal 5 to terminal 4
Dear Terminal 5 Employee,
I am arriving tomorrow to terminal 5 and I need to get to Terminal 4! I have 2 hours for checking in to the USA (I am not an US citizen) and to get to Terminal 4 and checking in to my plane back home! What is tha fastest way to do it? Should I go by taxi between the two terminals or is there any other possibility? Can I ask anybody there not to wait in the line because I have a shortage of time to reach the other plane?
Thanks,
Attila
You can take Airtrain
You can take Airtrain between terminals; take train on track 2 one stop from T5 to T4, only takes about a minute.
Flying in from Jamaica
Hello - I am flying home from Montego Bay, Jamaica on Sunday on flight # 780. My paperwork says Terminal 4, but will we be coming into Terminal 5? Is there a cell phone waiting area near terminal 5??
re:flying home from Montego Bay, Jamaica on Sunday on flight # 7
Jet Blue from Jamaica comes at T4. The cellphone lot is outside Central Terminal Area(~5min drive).

Arriving in New York on the 3 September
Hi we will be arriving in NY at 19.40hours on the 3rd Sept from FRANKFURT on flight no LH0404. Are there any weather warnings so far that might delay the flights and landing in New York? We are noticing that some hurricanes may hit the US East Coast and were wondering whether this will cause delays.

Too early to know where and
Too early to know where and when the hurricane will go. Check with your airline for any weather-related updates regarding your flight.
Flight Question
I'm flying from Richmond International with JetBlue on 9/11/10, and I have to connect at JFK (my flight departs to O'Hare, which is my destination.) This will be the first time I have flown alone, and I'm flying with my 1 year old daughter. She is flying with me as a lap infant. I'm carrying 1 suitcase as a checked bag. I have a few different flight related questions.
1- When I land at JFK, what will happen to my baggage between RIC/JFK/ORD?
2- Will I be allowed to fly with her diaper bag and my carry-on? She is still on powdered formula.
3- I need to fly with an umbrella stroller (one of the small strollers; no frills, just a simple, thin, small fold-up). What are the restrictions there, and will I be able to carry that? It is a needed "assistive device" with her.
re: Flight Question
1- You flying on one airline both flights so most likely Jet Blue will check your bag all the way through. Which means you don't have to deal with it at JFK. Double check this with Jet Blue at RIC.
2- Yes, most airlines allow you to carry two items on the plane
3- The stroller is usually checked free as a "baby item". The exception here is that you can check the stroller at the gate(since you will need it).
And the stroller will be delivered to you at the time of disembarking the plane.

Verification
Just asking to clarify, that way I'm not confused.
Once I check my bag in at RIC, I won't need to deal with nor see it again until I pick it up at ORD, correct?
When I go to board the plane at RIC and JFK, they take the stroller, and I get it from them when I leave the plane at my destinations, correct?
Sorry, just want to make sure I understand clearly.
re:Verification
That is correct on your first question - you won't need to deal with your bags till your final destination.
It is slightly different story with the stroller though.
Since it is a "baby-item" and you may need it during your lay-over at JFK, that is why it will be given to you at the time of leaving the airplane at JFK. You have to check it in at the gate when you take your second flight and again it will be given to you at the gate when you leave the plane at the final destination.

Question
So, they just check it before I board my second flight or do I have to deal with security again?
re:So, they just check it before I board my second flight
You don't have to deal with security again - just have the gate agent check it before your second flight.
