Airtrain and public transportation runs 24/7, 365 days a year. By subway or Long Island RR; take Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station. Take E subway which runs across 50th St. to 8th Ave. and then south along 8th Ave., or LIRR to Penn Station at 33rd St. between 7th and 8th Ave. E subway will take you closer to Times Square and attractions in that area.

thanks!
we are going to teterboro, New Jersey.
Which schedule are you recommended? First going to Penn station and then to terterboro? We arrived at 9:00 pm at JFK airport.
I hope you can help me, because this's our first trip to New York.

You need to take the NJ Transit bus to Paterson from Port Authority Bus Terminal which stops in Teterboro. Take the E subway from Jamaica Station to 42nd St./Port Authority. Check out www.njtransit.com and use their trip planner.

My husband was offered a job at JFK but we life in Reading PA. He was thinking of taking a bus to NY but we are having a hard time finding reasonable priced transportation from the bus terminal to the airport on a daily bases. Any suggestions?

From Port Authority Bus Terminal the E subway goes to Sutphin Blvd./JFK and then he can take Airtrain from there to all airport locations. Many employees use public transit and Airtrain. Regular cost is $7.25 for subway/Airtrain per trip. He should check with his employer to see if they offer any transit benefits.

Hi,

I would be arriving at JFK on friday at 11 p.m. can you advice me what will be the best mode to travel to Holiday Inn Allentown I-78/Lehigh Valley ?

Check Greyhound's schedule for bus service to Allentown. Greyhound is located at Port Authority Bus Terminal near Times Square. With the late hour of your arrival taxi or public transportation (E subway from Jamaica Station to 42nd St.) are available to take you there.

Hi,
We are travelling from JFK on the 31st of Octover and need transport to a hotel in Newark. The cheapest but easiest way, as I have cases would be gratefully accepted. Many thanks
Jess

Hi Jessica,
the cheapest way is never the easiest; how many people are traveling?
Taxi will cost you around $80-$90(for the whole taxi); there is a shuttle that will take you to Newark Airport($30/person). Public transportation (even being the cheapest way) is out of question since you have cases and it would be difficult to move around.

Hey
Is there a bus from J.F Kennedy Airport to New Jersey Bergen County ? I hope you can help me.

Nothing direct from JFK. You'd need to go to Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan (take NYAS express bus from terminal or Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station and E subway to 42nd St./Port Authority) and take a NJ Transit bus. NJ Transit also has trains to Bergen County from Penn Station (NYAS bus, or E subway or LIRR from Jamaica).

Hello!

I'm arriving on the 4th of october at 4.00 p.m. on JFK Airport. Does anybody can tell me when I can take the next bus to the grand central station?

THX

Ivaba

The NYAS express bus to Grand Central leaves from each terminal every 20-30 minutes. Check at the Ground Transportation counter for schedules or www.nyairportservice.com

We are coming into the Cruise terminal and wan to find the least expensive way to get to JFK for our flight home. We have lots of time so won't be in a hurry. What are some options?

Walk down to 50th St. and 12th Ave. from the cruise terminal and take the M50 bus (runs along 50th St.) to the C/E subway station at 8th Ave. Take the Queens-bound E subway to Sutphin Blvd/JFK and transfer to the Airtrain to your terminal. Fare for bus is $2.25, same for subway, Airtrain is $5. If you don't have a Metrocard the bus will only accept coins, no bills, so get a Metrocard to pay for all...bus, subway, Airtrain.
