Take AirTrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to LIRR to Penn Station (trains have overhead luggage racks), walk east on 34th St. to 6th Ave-Herald Square.

Whats the easiest and fastest way to get from JFK to Trenton / Plainsboro, NJ.

Thanks in advance!

Take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, then E subway or LIRR to Penn Station. There take either Amtrak (NE Regional) or NJ Transit (NE Corridor) train to Trenton. Amtrak is more expensive but makes only a few stops between NY and Trenton, NJ Transit makes all stops in between.

Can someone please tell me the quickest way to JFK airport on a Sunday evening tomorrow. Is it the express bus or is the subway faster? If so what bus or subway lines will i need to take.
Thanks in advance.
I m near Baltimore .

Could you please offer suggestions for getting from JFK to White Plains? Thank you.

1. Taxi, somewhere between $80 and $100.
2. Metro North-Harlem line train from Grand Central Terminal to White Plains ($16/$13 off-peak). Take NYAS express bus ($15) from terminal to Grand Central or AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Lexington/53rd, transfer to #6 subway downtown to 42nd/Grand Central ($7.25).
3. Shared-ride shuttle service, inquire at ground transportation counter.

Does any now if there is a bus from Boston directly to JFK. Thanks

Nothing direct. You can take Megabus or Boltbus bus from Boston to Penn Station-NYC, then E subway or LIRR from there to Jamaica Station and then AirTrain from there to all terminals.

No, there is no direct bus from BOS to JFK.

If I take the Trans-Bridge line to 42nd St from JFK, how much would the fare be? And where do I purchase the ticket to get on? Thanking you in advance.

On their web site they mention that you can buy a ticket on the bus , from the driver. But "Newark Airport to New York City Port Authority to JFK Airport - Service is NOT AVAILABLE" message is posted there as well. So, it is better to double check with them in advance.

Instead you can take NYAS express bus to 42nd street($15, paid on the bus)

Hi There-
I am looking for the cheapest way to travel from JFK airport to the Roger Williams Hotel (on 31st and Madison Ave.). Google maps advises me to multiples modes of transportation to arrive on Madison Ave (from a bus to a subway to a train etc.). Is there a subway/tram that travels from JFK to Madison Ave directly? I'm completely content walking a mile or two, if need be. I am also flexible with the variability in time. I would rather take 1 mode of transportation and spend more time in the commute. If so, can I catch the subway inside of the airport?
Thank you!

This is the most direct: take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station. Take E subway to Lexington/53rd. Transfer to the downtown #6 subway to 33rd St. Walk south on Lexington to 31st St. and then right on 31st. to Madison Ave.

hello, I'll arrive at JFK on October,14th. I have to go in New Jersey:which's the cheapest way to go there?Thank you..

You can get there by public transportation but would need to know where for the correct route (train or bus). Tell me where and I'll tell you how to get there.
